Cousins had several mini fits during the camp. Coaches don't like that kind of garbage. In one instance he missed a layup ran over to the wall punched it and screamed. Lol he still acts like a child at times. Can't have that stuff going on.

Plumlee also fits much better with K's defensive philosophy. Especially in international play.

Heard that in a couple places but no one has provided a source. Where is that coming from?

Mason is a mediocre defender, don't see that as a good basis to pick him.

Its mainly based about K wanting more athleticism on the wings and PF position. Its definitely not about talent as we all know Cousins is one of the more talented players in the league, but fit on the international level. Hell, Kyle Korver has a half decent shot at making the team, but that doesn't mean hes one of the top SG's in the league.

If Mason was a dominant rebounder or defender then I'd be ok with it. He is average at both. His only elite "skill" is jumping high and dunking often.

Hell, maybe they should've put Zeller on the national team.

Lol I was kind of thinking the same thing. Then the internet would have really imploded.

The team USA scrimmage is tomorrow at 9 on ESPN. Im guessing Zeller will play about 9.5 seconds.

Ill be keeping an eye on Cousins to see if he comes out and kills it

Isn't that the select team vs national team?

Yeah. They're going to scrim one another I guess. Last year they didn't half ass it too bad. Was pretty entertaining with the exception of watching Kemba play off the ball which was a train wreck.

I can see it now - Cousins loses it, breaks Mason's arm and gets kicked out himself. Miles Plumlee fractures his skull attempting an absurd dunk over Drummond, leaving only Cody Zeller, who fortuitously never was able to get PT in the scrimmage, as the last big on the national team.

Cody should play quite a bit, the only other players that can play PF or C on the select team are Miles Plumlee, Tobias Harris, Draymond Green, Harrison Barnes and McBuckets

Coach K would bring in Josh McRoberts before Zeller made the national team

I will definitely check out that scrimmage, Braves don't play until later on the West Coast anyway.

Oh well. Good experience for him nonetheless.
