Bledsoe is not going to fire his agent. He's good friends with his agent, and has a much more personal attachment to him than he does to the Suns organization and fans. He sees his agent as a friend working for him, and the Suns as a company working against his interests. In fact, he was in Cleveland today with Rich Paul and the Klutch Sports Group. Gambo's letter (while some of it may be true), was an embarrassment, and makes us look bad IMO. His whole article is admittedly based off of speculation, and the tone of it is very aggressive. If anything, that article is going to be even more detrimental to the Suns relationship with Bledsoe than helpful, that is if Bledsoe sees it.

Then we're in serious trouble if he reads what fans are saying about him. Gambo's comments are nothing compared to that.

Fans ≠ Media. To have a prominent local media member basically come out and attack you and your agent is a little different.

I heard that MCW's defense is not bad. Is it true?

Why in the world would the 76ers do that? MCW is their franchise player.

They have serious doubts about him as a franchise player I would suspect. The guy can't shoot, turns the ball over a little too often and isn't a good defender. He was a volume scorer because they didn't have a lot of options and because winning was not a concern. Maybe he won't always be a 33% jump shooter but right now, there are a lot of question marks about him. His ROY award gives him some respect and attention that his on court play doesn't justify so it's quite possible his trade value exceeds his playing value.

Well if that's the case then I *definitely* don't want him.

I totally agree with this. That letter is not going to help things in the least bit. While it all may be true, that's not the way to go about anything. I don't know if Gambo wants to get rid of Bledsoe or what, but that letter isn't going to influence him in any positive direction to the Suns.

While it may have no impact on the situation, it certainly won't have positive impact on it. Hopefully they just ignore it and don't give it any thought whatsoever.

You don't understand, $12M/yr is an amazing contracting for Bledsoe.

If you asked me right after the season ended, I would even say that's an overpay from our side.

$48M is just ton of money for a guy who has played for barely 40 games as a starter and looked decent in. This isn't like James Harden in OKC.

I'll agree all day with you on that 88. I think $12 million per year is overpay territory for Bledsoe. Generically speaking, why hasn't another team offered 50/4, or 52/4, or 56/4? There are teams out there who could clear cap space and make an offer for Bledsoe that is above our 48/4, but nobody has done it yet. As far as I am aware, there have been exactly zero other offers for Bledsoe.

I trust Babby to really have the right approach on dealing with this. He is going to be patient with this ordeal, and more importantly he is going to be positive and never, ever, denigrate or diss Bledsoe. Enough said on this. I'm tired of thinking and commenting on Eric Bledsoe and f'ing Rich Paul.

I'm surprised a non-Rockets fan would actually ask for Harden given all the national report about how bad he is on all fronts. At this point, I'm not sure there even even many Houston fans who think positively of Harden.

But I still love him, and believe he'll try harder on defense as he age and understand what it takes to win. Dude is still only 24. I can't speak for Morey, but I'm thinking more along the lines of Capella and Pelicans 1st next year along with some non-guaranteed contracts for Bledsoe S&T.

Think along different lines.

I love it!

That was Joe Theisman esque. Absolutely devasting for PG and the Pacers (and the league).

If he's ever the same it will take years IMO...

Trade Bledsoe for George?
Or is that injury not something you can return from?

Wow, that's a season ending injury. Maybe longer. I feel bad for George, pacers, and their fans.

I haven't seen the injury on replay, but I did see him getting carted off the court. He didn't seem in excessive pain or anything. Was it really that bad?
