Obviously this is about PG but I do feel bad for Rose as well. He was doing so well and building confidence and now he has to see his teammate go down like that...

Agree so much with this! The whole concept needs to be looked at again, these guys are such great athletes and can take up so much space that the whole area should be free of any obstruction. Cameramen, posts, etc.

KC: Do you still think you're a championship-caliber team?
Gar: I never said that and correct me if I'm wrong.
KC: You were asked that question at the news conference announcing Thibodeau's dismissal and you answered yes

It happened so fast I didn't see it when it happened, but with the first replay I did. And you can see the announcers saw then too. Just so freakishly accidental. It wasn't like he was out of control. Just looked like a normal jump. Feel bad for the dude and the Pacers too. We all know what this is like.

Good job on Coach K and Colangelo not answering inconsiderate questions like who's getting picked and stuff.

Sucked it up and watched it. Even though I was prepared and "ready" for it, I'm still shaken up about it. Man, that's bad. When Rose tore his acl, people just saw him limping around and falling to the floor, they didn't see....well....this. You could see the player's faces just turn pale and the whole crowd went nearly quiet. I hope PG makes a full recovery and is able to put this past him eventually.

They've both been really great leaders for Team USA these past few years. Chicago guys too.

I don't mean to get off topic, but how realistic is that to do? Virtually every NBA poster wouldn't exist if it weren't for camera crew nearly right under the basket. I agree that it's way too often you see players falling into a crowd of people and equipment, but I really don't think anything is going to change unfortunately.

I don't know how feasible this is but I firmly agree. I feel the same way about baseline cameramen as well.

Yep, those are definitely live tweets. Cause you see PG on the floor wonder why its taking him so long, then the replay just punches you in the gut.

I know i am being selfish in saying this, but i was really looking forward to this game.

Terrible for it to end the way it did. Feel for George.

Don't know why, but it feels like something more than an injury just occurred. I have that feeling in me.

It's dumb and irrational given what is going on in the world right now, but basketball is an escape from all that. Don't need deflating crap like that occurring here too.

I think this injury might end up being bigger than basketball. I'll bet there are talk shows having nothing to do with sports that will discuss Paul George on monday. It'll be interesting (for lack of a better, more considerate word) what the pop culture impact this will have.

They showed it once and gave a warning.

They shouldn't show it at all, show some respect for paul and his family. People can watch online if they want too plus what if somebody just started watching sportscenter and didn't get the warning.

Respect to his family? Its an injury not a death. It was and always will be apart of sports, sports news, and thus sports highlights.

I understand the not wanting to look crowd, just change the channel or dont look.. fair warning was given before the highlight was shown.

The stanchion was much closer than in the NBA, due to the stadium, according to Windhorst.
