Tuesday: Brad Thompson vs. Brian Bannister
Wednesday: Adam Wainwright vs. Odalis Perez
Thursday: Kip Wells vs. Scott Elarton
So far in June we have 2 reborn hitters in Encarnacion (1.197 OPS) and Eckstein (1.018 OPS) and the mainstay in Pujols (1.270 OPS) hitting for us, it's just too bad no one else is. We should have the pitching advantage in all 3 games, but we shall see. Also if we don't light up Elarton we suck, as he sucks.

Quite the outing by Mr. Wells. Flores and Jimenez didn't help out things either. I have to think Jimenez's time with us has to be coming to an end, his ERA is quite the high. And like I said Elarton sucks, but hey so does our pitching. I'm really not sure who's worse Thompson or Wells, I think, I think Wells is a little better, but damn do they both suck.

Oh, apparently you don't know about Percival's first outing that was on Wednesday night. He was lucky to only allow one run. I definitely don't think Percival is anything, but god do I hope not pitching for almost 2 years helped his arm, and the other nights outings was just, well something, I dont know.

I know about it. I'll see you Percival's crap outing, and raise you Juan Encarnacion's .150 BA while he was at Springfield earlier this season.
They didn't sign Percival to play for the Memphis Redbirds. After a few more appearances, they will bring him up to see if he's got anything left and can help the Cardinals. Maybe it will be two weeks instead of one, but no matter what he does in Memphis, he'll be in St. Louis soon unless he decides he is done and walks away.
