Wow. That's crazy. can't believe that happened in a scrimmage. Just a freak accident. Hopefully he has a quick recovery and it doesn't have a huge impact on his career long term.

Long reaching impact on USA basketball. Should be interesting to see how the NBA handles it going forward. A humongous blow for the Pacers, really too bad for everyone. Most news seems to indicate that he can recover and hopefully that's true. Amazing that he could break his leg in half and just sit there all cool, tough mother.

Will they really regret letting Lance and Turner walk though? Having more cap space while PG rehabs is probably a good thing...Lance and Turner weren't going to get them anywhere without PG.

Derrick Rose is going to be a problem. This is where we'll miss Dwight's rim protection. Luckily, we have 2 stud defensive players to throw at Rose all game. Can even use Harkless & Gordon on him for breaks. But overall, I'm so glad to have him back playing.

I'm starting to really dislike Dante Exum because of all of this unwarranted hype.

I didn't watch it yesterday, but man these highlights were fun. Not a Bulls fan at all, but Rose is so much fun to watch.

Sucks for that fan base too. No stevenson, no george, and 0-0 Hibbert to rely on. They'll miss the playoffs.

Yea george got lucky here, I thought he definitely shredded parts of the knee..just hearing of breaks is good news

You're late to the party. This forum been hating on him ever since Magic passed on him. Honestly I think his haters bring him up more often than others, and THEN they complain when people are talking about Exum.

I think Exum should turn out to be a decent player and I was one of his biggest supporters but I haven't mentioned him much after the draft. Payton looked pretty good so that made it easier. We might still have a wasted pick at #4, but it can't be two busts right??

they're not going to have capspace until next season, and not unless Hibbert and/or West opt out. if they do, i'm not sure what FA's next season would be jumping to join Indy until they know Paul is coming back healthy. (there's really only Love, LMA and a couple other big FAs next season, too). if they'd have a little help there already (like Lance) i'm sure they'd consider it.

i just think that Lance or Turner could've helped carry that team into the playoffs again quite easily. but without them, they've got nothing. Turner would've come cheap, too.

Awful. That's really the only way to describe how Gordon played in Orlando Summer League. We knew he couldn't make shots outside of the paint in college, and thus far that hasn't changed. But he also struggled to make paint shots and didn't dominate the glass. However, it would be a huge mistake to suddenly determine that he won't end up as a quality player.

Only time will tell whether the Magic erred greatly by choosing Gordon over the likes of Dante Exum and Julius Randle with the fourth overall pick, but Gordon can become a good starter on a good team. He's an impressive athlete who just needs a lot of work on his skill game. With low expectations this season on him and his team, he'll have ample time to do just that.

Awful?? Really? He didn't have a big showing, sure. Didn't put up sexy numbers but to say he played awful? Come on now.

He had ups and downs with probably more downs than ups. He had 1 awful game and 1 decent game. So yeah, awful is too harsh. Especially when looking at how a lot of the other top picks played. The most consistent rookies may have been Payton, McDermott and Wiggins.

Dont forget about tj warren.

Also i believe much of gordons success he had in the final game was due to playing down low.
