Sorry to burst your bubble, but Bradley had himself a decent World Cup, all things considered. He is also a world-class player and can play in the EPL, Serie A, and the Bundesliga.
no he didn't. He played horribly. He would be on the bench and never play in those leagues. The MLS suits his game
Or, you know, a bunch of once every 4 year soccer fans with absolutely no clue concocted this disastrous tournament that actually never happened?
Perhaps you didn't see Bradley playing out of position, forced even more out after Altidore's injury forced the USA into a flat 4-4-2. Bradley's preferred spot is as a deep lying playmaker. He played way too high on the pitch.
Bradley finished with a 83.4% pass completion rate at the World Cup. Put that in prespective: Pogba, who had a great tournament for France, finished with 80% completion. Pirlo, the greatest passer in the game, finished with a godly 90%.
Bradley covered the most distance of any player in the group stages as well.
Did he have an amazing tournament? No. But he is still far above many other players in this world, and the fact that you judge him based on 4 World Cup games tells me all I need to know about how seriously to take your opinion here.
