According to Brian Windhorst, Anthony Bennett may land with Sixers in a bigger deal that will send Kevin Love to the Cavs and Andrew Wiggins to the Timberwolves.

CLE will get Love, Wiggins & Thaddeus Young go to Minnesota and Anthony Bennett and picks go to Philadelphia is rumored to be a deal.

Yes.
When you have Bledsoe, he makes the other PG less efficient, gets them more frustrated.

He is on the same level as Rondo defensively, when on form, IMO.

Dragic is a lot better to watch offensively, but OVERALL... as in both sides, Bledsoe is a star-stopper.

Before the injuries... when both Bledsoe and Dragic was playing, Bledsoe's stats were slightly better and his impact was tremendous.

We havent seen Bledsoe WITHOUT Dragic, but I'm confident his stats will go up too... less efficient, but his defense is so reliable... so much more than Dragic.

Like I said, going up against the Lilards, Currys, Westbrooks etc, I'm 100% confident the matchup will even out even if these guys are playing well.
Dragic isnt "bad" defensively, but he wont be able to contain a hot Lilard, Curry, Westbrook etc.

I watched so many games last season just paying attention to Bledsoe's defense and he really does slow the other PGs down considerably. Forces them to take tough shots etc. Sure, they'll hit some of them.. they are NBA stars afterall, but Bledsoe makes them work and spend energy trying to get their shots up. So valuable in a close game.

Dragic offense maybe better than Bledsoe, but as I said... Bledsoe isnt that far behind, he can put up 20 a night.
But his defense is 150% that of Dragic.... hence my judgement of him being better OVERALL.

Fair deal for Bledsoe is 4 years 48 million and 5th year team option 20 mill. If he plays all 4 years over 65 games then he gets 20 mill 5th year!

I think he may have or is close to reaching his prime but relative to Bledsoe he should be able to maintain that prime for a longer period.

I also think Dragic is either in his prime or very close to it. I also agree with spanishninja in that Dragic is more likely maintain his prime for long ala Manu.

It is because the CBA says so! You might want to actually take a look at what is possible under the CBA instead of making suggestions that are not possible under the CBA and getting upset when someone points to out to you.

Our offense was not pretty when Dragic was out and Bledsoe ran the team himself. If you read the Grantland piece on Bledsoe you might have remembered this:

There is also the small matter of Phoenix’s offense stalling out when Bledsoe ran solo. The Suns scored 108.4 points per 100 possessions when Dragic and Bledsoe played together, and just 100.7 when Dragic sat — a mark that would have ranked 25th among 30 teams over the full season. The team’s overall turnover rate spiked, and Bledsoe made more mistakes when he had to work as the lead ball handler.

Bledsoe also shot 55 percent in those non-Dragic minutes, and Phoenix, as fun as it was last season, wasn’t exactly awash in second-unit perimeter threats who could help Bledsoe create offense.

In the games where Bledsoe started and Dragic didn't play at all we lost to the Spurs in which EB had a monster game 30/9/11, and beat the Kings where EB had 6/2/2 in limited minutes of the regular season finale. There were also the 3 early season games where Dragic tweaked his ankle and couldn't play. EB had 17/9/2 in a win over the Nuggets, 14/5/2 in a loss to the Spurs, and 25/5/4 in a win over the Pelicants. Clearly he is able to get his individual stats and the team pulled out 2 wins and lost a close game to SA. I'm not sure how much of this information is useful since the sample size is so small (5 games.)

Also, I don't think his defense is near as advertised. I'm not even sure he's the best perimeter defender on the team right now. He's a good steals guy and great at covering long distances quickly for blocks after his man beats him or out on the break. I do think he gets beat a lot still though. I'd have to see some statistics on pick and roll defense before I could comment on it.
