never had a backhand to the face from somebody that tall before. I gotta ask Australia what that feels like.

hmph. well there was. now there isn't but apparently Thon Maker is playing for the USA during FIBA as opposed to playing for Australia.

arizona's an attractive program because they're good and sean miller is a really good recruiter, but they're also expected to lose everyone. b.ashley, tarz, stan, RHJ are all expected to leave and mcconell will graduate. their 2014 class was just ok and is mostly made up of core players, so basically all spots in their starting lineup are up for grab.

trier's a good get for them, but i think that also means that they lose out on i.briscoe, who out of he, trier and dorsey imo is the best of the bunch. trier struck first. i also expect them to get at least one of their 3 main big targets: rabb, zimmerman and chance comanche.

i've heard the performances at adidas nations have been underwhelming.
kids are tired and worn down physically after a long summer season. the lack of good PG play, especially among the 2015 teams, has supposedly hurt the overall play.

ManualRam, is Shabazz Muhammad a good comparison for Josh Langford or does he have better ball skills/athleticism? Also, what do you think of PJ Dozier?

langford has better ball skills and has a better all-around game than shabazz. he does have a power slashing game like bazz, but with a better handle, better change of pace in particular. he can run the point in a pinch, is a decent playmaker and he can defend too. one thing that he doesn't have that shabazz has is great length. langford's length is average to below average which could hurt his prospects going forward. he's strong, has good spring, plays at different speeds and knows how to get defenders on their heels to set up his pull up.

i really like pj dozier. i see him as more of an all-around, playmaking 2, but he plays the point a lot and sees himself as more of a point. i guess what his position will come down to is how well he can defend 1's. heady player, really good passer, more of a smooth than explosive athlete, good length. imo, he could stand to look for his offense a bit more

you're obviously asking because UM's recruiting them and i know they made dozier's final 5, but both would be perfect fits for the beilein system (you should already know that michigan recruits certain types of players and both fit the mold. both are smart and multi-dimensional). on top of that, neither are 1 and done candidates. dozier COULD be a 2 and through depending on how much he physically matures. langford needs to shake off the injury bug and improve his outside shot, his pull up game is money but his long ball is not.

Thanks ManualRam, getting clear scouting reports on a lot of these guys, instead of the generic template, is hard to come by.

Dennis smith is a beast he's so explosive and the kid gets to the rim so easy..he had a spin move that was already pro like..

It will be interesting to see where his recruiting goes..

I liked Jaylen Brown's reaction when Chase exposed the shirt last night.

just his little nod like "ok ok i see you" then he had a look on his face like he was considering the same. I looked for a video but couldn't find one anywhere yet.
