Karim Benzema has signed a five-year extension with Real Madrid that will run through 2019.
Benzema joined Real Madrid from Lyon in 2009 for £30 million.
Benzema was briefly mentioned in rumors of a potential move away from Real Madrid this summer when the club was reportedly interested in Luis Suárez.
