not "official" yet. but yea pretty much written in stone. I wonder if any other owners will call for tampering. Sounds like something Cuban would do.

You can probably add Allen to that roster too.

The WOJ has spoken, it's a done dealio.

Allen would be nice and would allow waiters to get some more backup PG minutes, that's for sure.

Eeeeh you are insane if you think Waiters has any shot at starting.
Most likely Marion signs and the rotation will be like,

Irving-Waiters-Dellavedova
James-Waiters
Marion-Miller-James
Love-Marion
Varejao-Thompson

Basically.
The trade is highway robbery from Minnesota, there was no need to include Wiggins, nobody was offering nothing even close to that, with Bennett, Waiters and a 1st it will have work eventually, maybe in February.

Highway robbery? Dude Love is 26. He's in his prime. Wiggins isn't proven yet. I'll take the bird in the hand over the 2 in the bush. And it's a PROTECTED pick....good luck turning the number 19 pick into a stud.

What is the protection on the pick do you guys know? And interested to hear the opinion of everyone who was against a Love trade that involved Wiggins and their thoughts on the trade, especially those who were saying "No way it happens" (obv not official yet), But I think you guys have to be considered the favorites now, congrats

that lineup is awful both defensively and offensively, you know you only play basketball with one ball right? there is no way Waiters starts for the Cavs next season.
I don't know if Marion will play SG, or LeBron, or Ray Allen/Mike Miller or another guy that comes via FA or trade, but Waiters won't.

My guess is if Kevin Love was in this years draft, the Cavs would of drafted him over Wiggins

Seriously though... after the wandering in the desert you had to go through after Bron left to Miami, I'm happy for all of you that you have the native son back and some great competitive pieces. I'm hoping its my Bulls versus you in the ECF for the next few years (and yes... I'm pulling for my guys)... but I'm glad the pieces have been picked back up for you guys and then some. It almost feels like amends have been made with your franchise.

Defensively I can buy, but awful offensively? Sure there's one ball, but Love is the best passing big in the game. Lebron can get 20 without having to shoot a ton because he shoot 55% from the floor. They might be historically good on offense.

Waiters will be starting. None of those guys you've mention will do better than Waiter defensively. Marion Is best fit at his age to guard 3 and sometimes 4's. LeBron is good for situational 2 play. Waiters has improved defensively last season, I don't see that changing. yes only one ball but yet everyone in the starting lineup are decent to good passers. As long as they move the ball it should be fine. That's how you play basketball. We was ranked 16th in defense last year, not great but not horrible. Our defense will be better this year.
