Sucks for the Pacers. No one should wish that on an NBA team.

However, considering the break George should make a full recovery. While it looked and probably felt gruesome its probably better than a risky ACL tear or broken ankle.

Perfect opportunity for the Pacers to sell off what little veteran assets they have (because they are overpriced), tank and get a great PG or PF at the top of the draft, and reload during the 2016 FA.

As horrific as it looked it is hard to believe that it could have been worse.

I wish a dunk attempt this awkward took place during the slam dunk contest. Is this a 1 for lack of grace? Or a 10 for degree of difficulty?

Note to self, do not use leg as a crowbar. At least PG will have a nice big cast for strippers and porn stars to sign. That's tough, those lower leg breaks take so long to heal. Hopefully his surgery went well and he doesn't get any infection, that's the big worry with compound fractures.

This one probably takes the cake for being the most awkward one. (2:23)

This really is a wonderful picture of a guy showing you it's never too late for anything. Brandon Bass learning to swim.

Marion meeting with the Cavs.

Would make sense here, using Zeller/Vonleh as third string C.

And one player type has become less and less desired, to the point it may already be a market inefficiency: the power forward who can’t shoot 3s and can’t protect the rim or provide real fill-in minutes at center.

That should bode well for Noah Vonleh's future, right? Doesn't he project to be a PF that can hit three's, block some shots / play solid D and maybe if he bulks up log a few minutes here or there at center?

Maybe it's wishful thinking to hope Vonleh excels in all three areas, but yeah, I agree with Zach Lowe, today's PF should at least be able to space the floor or play good defense.

My picks:
2020 Draft (3rd pick) - Tyrese Haliburton, Devin Vassell, or Onyeka Okongwu
2021 Draft (11th pick) - Moses Moody

Minnesota has become my new second favorite team.

Rubio-LaVine-Wiggins-Bennett-Dieng

will be an absolute blast to watch develop with the potential to be amazing in a few years.

If I was on any other Eastern conference team other than the Cavs my career mission would be to beat Lebron at all costs. Rise up Hornets and dethrone the king!!!

As long as Rose is healthy, I know I know, I still think the Bulls are the team to beat in the East. The Bulls have better depth, way better defense, a better coach(by default, top 3 rim protector in the NBA, a better PG, and maybe just maybe better outside shooting (debatable). The core of the Bulls is still there which is a plus over a team that is completely revamped.

Also Love is pretty horrendous against the Bulls (albeit small sample size). Points take a small dip, but FG% and rebounds drop drastically. Could be teammates and what not and that gets better, but he tends to struggle against those physical type teams.
