The five year extension shouldn't be called an extension. He is signing a new deal, but the five year thing is exclusive to rookie scale extensions. Veteran signings of own FA's can be for 5 years, and there isn't a limit on how many per team.

Kevin Love is a straight up Alpha. He's going to want to take every big shot and probably will get into a spat with Waiters and possibly Irving because of his competitiveness. He will never shy down and will relish everything about the big stage. If Cavs win the finals, he will be finals MVP. He is Alpha.

If Love is such an alpha like you claim, then instead of trading him, perhaps it is better you cave to his demands and give him a 5-year supermax extension.

Of course wolves would if they could sign Kevin Love for another 5 years. What type of diss was that? You know what why don't you go out there and make a million dollars, I hope you do you clean sexy beast.

He is alpha, and you will see it this season. Going to be stupid looking at Cavs fans getting all up on Love and saying how brazen and clutch he is mid season. You guys will flip quickly for good reason, Love is Alpha.
