If Marion was smart, he would go to Indiana. With PG down and out for the season, Marion would get plenty of minutes and be somewhat of a focal point on the team.

Unless he wants a ring, playoff success, getting to know LeBron, etc. Any of those things could be important to him.

Yeah, he isn't sticking around for a big pay day anyway. He wants to win again and Lebron will make doing that much easier.

Smart move by Marion and he'll be a big help for a lacking Cleveland d. He's going to be a very debatable Hall of fame candidate and he could use another chip or two to pad his resume. I personally think he belongs in no matter what but it's gonna be close when he's up for a vote.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

I felt the same way and mentioned it on draft night that I wouldn't be surprised if McD was trying to take Toronto's guy (who picked 2 picks later) with Harris and Hood on the board and was going to try a trade to also acquire a pick like Philly did with Orlando (by taking Payton 2 picks before Orlando and trading him for Saric and a pick) but then Toronto backed out. It was just a possible speculation, but it certainly wasn't a popular one in our draft thread when I said it.

We might be holding it up. We might have told Toronto that we will send them Ennis after we have Bledsoe squared away. Otherwise we might keep him.

I don't think he is a HOF player.

Yea I don't see any reason for Shawn Marion to be inducted into the HOF.

I don't think he is either but he's really not that far away. His steals, blocks and cool nickname give him an outside chance and if he picks up another ring that would probably cinch the deal. Then, of course, he's sure to parlay that award into a second career in broadcasting. He can just send in his first interview with Jim Rome as his audition tape.

Wow, when I was in high school I lived at 51st and Thunderbird too (well between Thunderbird and Greenway).

I grew up on the otherside of ASU West. Basically lived a ton of my life in the cheap **** apartments behind ABCO. (No idea what is there now as the grocery store closed when I was young.

I grew up right near the PV Mall(but we were there before it)next to the Alpha Beta (later called ABCO  ). But when we first got to AZ we rented a house right off Greenway, and I went to Palomino Elementary.

However, I graduated almost ten years before your scheduled grad year. It's pretty crazy how much has changed since then, yet my parents still live in the same house. :)

That website has Chris Paul, Chris Bosh, Dwight Howard, and Carmelo Anthony above Steve Nash in HOF probability. It also has Amare Stoudemire right below Nash. Am I missing something/am I just a huge homer???

So Thad only has one year on his contract. I wonder if he wants to be in Minny after that. 76er fans seem to love the trade.

He will probably have quite a few suitors. That will definitely help Minny this year though. They should be decent, even if Wiggins doesn't contribute much.

Or start speculating that they expect the Bledsoe thing to drag out another thirty days, and a trade would require a signed player, not an unsigned rookie. :D

Does anyone have any positive suns related news? Anything at all?

Last thirty days is basically summed with tucker DUI and Bledsoe acting like a baby.
