Any desirable Rondo trade ideas out there? I haven't seen one that I've liked. (I'm still on the fence on whether we should move forward with the youth movement and go on full rebuild but I'm open to the possibility if we get a good deal.)

Mclemore, 1st, taking GW?

Something could shake loose with Rondo, Bledsoe, Hibbert, Monroe..

Rondo to PHO, Bledsoe to IND, Hibbert+ to BOS (IND 1st, LAL 1st, Alex Len, GW dump?)

That deal made a ton of sense two months ago, but we've drafted Smart and signed Evan Turner... We'd have a ton of assets but not necessarily the minutes to develop all of them.. If you could find a team to take Kemba and give us something back, it might work.. but Walker is basically I. Thomas with crappier efficiency..

Green for MKG+ (Vonleh or the other Zeller or Biyombo) would interest me, except we'd be getting another bricklayer..

I don't think Charlotte will trade MKG at this point, either, since they lost out on Hayward..

But if we could somehow trade Rondo to CHA for MKG/Vonleh/Walker and flip Kemba for Mclemore...

Smart/Pressey
Bradley/Mclemore/Thornton
Green/MKG/Turner/Wallace/Young
Sully/Olynyk/Bass
Zeller/Vonleh

It's hard to know what to do with that team- But we'd be absolutely stacked with young prospects and we'd have the assets to trade for two stars or to lose for another year and add a high lotto offensive superstar..

I actually think Green/Holiday has legs- New Orleans needs a small forward and Green is textbook. Holiday and Evans can't really coexist and Evans was the better player/fit in the second half of last year. Evans/Gordon/Green/Davis/Asik a much better built team.

Holiday goes nowhere. NOP gave up two top 10 picks for him. This frontoffice would be laughed at around the whole league. Also if he can return to his 76ers form from the time of Iggy and Pre ACL Lou Williams, he's a pretty good point guard.

Guards: Holiday, White, Pritchard
Wings: Tatum, Brown, Hauser
Bigs: Porzingis, Horford, Kornet

Agreed. They also wouldn't trot Evans out as their starting point guard moving forward. I could see them sending us Eric Gordon or maybe even Ryan Anderson for Green, but I don't know why we would do either

I like rondo but I think youre really overvaluing him.
what about rondo for rudy gay? try to throw evan turner as well for a big, landry or Thompson?

a starting lineup of smart, Bradley, gay, sully/Thompson, olynyk. that's got some promise til the lottery next year when there will be about 4-5 real centers you can draft.

in no way are vonleh and kemba going to be available. Gerald Henderson or cody zeller tho

Well... Hibbert is now officially available. Indy offered him to the Suns for Dragić (plus filler on both sides). Suns passed. Start up your trade machines gentleman...

(Not saying I even want him, but as a true Center on the market... we have to at least consider the possibility...)

well he always kills me on 2k so that's something I guess...

In all seriousness nola has an alright core and I believe Holiday will be fine going forward.

Report out there about Indiana looking to bring in Greg Monroe. That part makes sense, though Hibbert would have to go somewhere other than Detroit I'd assume.

I could see Boston on that list with a few others. Maybe Portland, Phoenix (in a different deal than above), maybe Atlanta.

Who else would be in the mix for Hibbert?

Matt Dery: Lots of chatter about Greg Monroe today. Pacers shopping Hibbert and a source tells me they have called the Pistons about him. All I know. Twitter @dery1051 - See more at: http://hoopshype.com/rumors.htm#sthash.attIIOzU.dpuf

Why do you assume Detroit wouldn't want Hibbert? Because of Drummond? I'm not at all saying I disagree... just curious about your reasoning. Hibbert is a vastly different player then Monroe... I think he could play next to Drummond (and Smith) A LOT better then Monroe... even if it might still not be ideal. Your thoughts?

Yeah, the Drummond aspect in Detroit. It's a weird fit IMO between Detroit and Indiana since they basically (according to this random rumor) are looking to move a C and need a wing.

I don't know about a Hibbert move for Boston. I'm intrigued if they can grab him cheap if Indy needs to shave salary and regroup, but he's been pretty up and down to spend a ton of assets on.

What good is Hibbert to us if Rondo is gone? Even if you believe Smart is the PG of the future... it will take him a few years to get there and by then Hibbert will be even more old and broken down then he is now, if he is even still here. He would most likely walk next offseason as a FA and we would have got 2 non-lotto picks for Rondo?
