How? Bledsoe would have to want to go to Minny, Minny would have to want to pay Bledsoe what he wants, and I'm sure we would have to take on Martin's contract and add a buttload more assets.

Yea, I wore my Nash jersey for the first time in like 2 years, it was glorious.

The #Suns announced signing first-round picks T.J. Warren and Tyler Ennis. Warren previously had signed. Ennis' signing made both official.

The chances of Bledsoe returning to play on a $3.7M qualifying offer are growing. There are still about 7 weeks to negotiate.

Haha, so Amin from ESPN is getting butthurt that fans think LeBron heavily influenced the Love deal. Not sure why that bothers him so much. He called a fan ignorant as f*** on twitter

Yet the other guy gets suspended for a joke billboard...

Amin was mocking fans who suggested Paul orchestrated the trade for LeBron. He was saying it wasn't possible.

Le Batard got suspended?

Also, does anyone know where I can find a torrent or other video of the Suns vs. Timberwolves from March 23rd last year? The epic comeback game?

You call it acting like a baby, I call it exercising his negotiated rights.

So...with regard to the whole Bledsoe situation. What is the best thing to do if he ends up taking the QO? Should be sit him and kill his value, or play him and at least get a great season out of him before he bails? In my view, if he's going to leave us anyway, at least we can make a good run this year and maybe make some noise for the 2015 offseason.

You play him and let his agent continue to try and find a trade to somewhere he wants to play. We could conceivably get a lot of future assets if he's on his QO money wise from a playoff team that needs a PG. Like if he wanted to be in Indiana. They could easily match the salary and give us some future picks. Before you say "they can just sign him outright next year as a UFA" remember they'll be trading for him for his bird rights as well so they can go over the cap and sign him. I think there'd be a number of teams that would be interested, but when playing on a QO Bledsoe would have to approve any move so it's something really his agent would have to work toward.

Given that 1.Bledsoe was worse than Dragic (who earns 7.5 mln.) and 2.he played half a season, the QO offer seems exactly the money Eric has ACTUALLY proven he deserves. I think it would be the best situation for the Suns if he takes the QO. Play him as a starter to begin the season and see what he does. If he opts to play the victim or gets hurt, then the Suns save a humongous amount of money. If he proves he deserves more - Suns can compete for him in the open market. I'd hate to see a remake of the Eric Gordon situation in Phoenix. And even more i'd hate to see a guy in a suit or a guy who just stays on the court for some time to pass getting double the money that Goran takes for giving his all every night.

There is exactly a 0% chance he even considers us next year if he takes the QO

actually from what I understand if he's traded on the QO the team that gets him will NOT have bird rights. If he's traded on the QO it would be for pennies on the dollar value wise. If he does the unthinkable and takes the QO best case is he takes a leap and becomes a no brainer max contract guy and the suns benefit by being able to give the 5th yr and more money than he could get on the open market.

Well then..

http://www.basketball-reference.com/lea ... _prob.html

That website has Chris Paul, Chris Bosh, Dwight Howard, and Carmelo Anthony above Steve Nash in HOF probability. It also has Amare Stoudemire right below Nash. Am I missing something/am I just a huge homer???

Nash is prolly a statistical outlier. I'm sure their algorithm isn't set up to predict a 2x MVP with Nash's relatively modest career numbers (relative to other back to back MVPs anyways)

I'm surprised amare is so high, but he has had an extraordinary career already (ROY, all nba, all star, POs).

The algorithm suggests Marion has a good chance of making the HoF. Comtributing on another title team would help.

I'll have to double check that. From my understanding bird rights are always traded with the player.

Nope, he loses his birds if he gets traded on QO.
