Passing and vision are already top class, but other areas of his game need massive improvement. He's also very one-footed.

It would make sense then, Vitesse love good passers. It's not official yet though, but Vitesse and McEachran are talking. He plays the same position as Leerdam and Vejinovic who pretty much always start, so he'll be a bench player if the loan deal actually happens.

Also, Vitesse kick off the season tomorrow away at Ajax, would expect Traore and Wallace to start. 14:30 local time.

Wallace should have had an assist, but finishing in this game is awful lol.

Wallace is looking solid and composed, but Traore doesn't look like he knows where he needs to be. Sometimes too deep and sometimes too advanced.

Don't deserve to be losing, let alone 3-0. Unbelievable. Can't wait for the new striker, we just don't finish the chances. Wallace been solid, Traore not very good. Think Ibarra will take his place when he returns.

It seems that Didier Drogba has torn the ligaments in his ankle and is expected to miss the first half of the season ...

all I can find on this was a fake daily mail account tweeting about it. would suck if it turns out to be true.

hoping that:
1) this doesnt mean oscar to the bench
2) this doesnt mean ramires in the pivot next to matic

but no denying that fabregas makes the offense click. completely different team once he came on.

Central position in midfield as in central midfield, not #10. Jose also said he sees Fabregas as a #7 (cross between #6 and #8).

Cesc could easily play in the double pivot with Matic as the holder, most likely scenario though is a 4-3-3 with Oscar and Cesc ahead of Matic.

Both Cesc and Oscar have both shown the defensive and attacking capabilities to play there, especially Cesc at Barcelona, just have to see it in actual game for Oscar now.

Who do you guys think are the candidates to surprise us this year?

Mine is Schurrle, didn't have the best of years last year (apart from the Fulham game) but he's got the ability to thrive here in Jose's system and next year he should take the next step and have a very good season.

Well, I suppose that Mourinho could try the 4-3-3, but in his system it would mean the full backs and Matic almost never entering the attacking third of the pitch ...

That's the idea, Matic will play the role of Busquets for Barcelona or Luis Gustavo for Brazil.

Be able to recycle possession if need be, always be available for a pass and cover for the FBs going forward.

Fullbacks going forward without 2 defensive midfielders on Mourinho's team? That would be the first ...

Seems you've already either forgotten or completely ignored Mourinho's first reign here, no surprises there considering your agenda and lack of knowledge

I remember very well Mourinho's first spell at Chelsea, and how his fullbacks were playing back then ... It seems that you have joined the Chelsea bandwagon after Mourinho has left, so you don't really remember how he uses his fullbacks in the Premier League when there is only 1 defensive midfielder on his team ...

Seems you don't remember his first spell well considering his team back then was designed on getting the full backs forward, they would support and overlap whenever Joe Cole/Robben/Duff would cut inside. One of the reasons why it worked so well and why in particular Duff and Cole had career years at Chelsea

Seems like you only watch LFC games, please stop cluttering this thread with your nonsense and actually do some research first. Then maybe we can continue this discussion, I'll give you a hint, Google is your friend.
