Heat first team in 49 years to reach NBA Finals 5x in a row

The Miami Heat are the first team in 49 years to reach the NBA Finals five years consecutively. First team to do it since the Dynasty of Dynasties, the Bill Russel Boston Celtics.

Oh wait. No we aren't. We aren't going to be the first team in modern NBA history to do it.

Because someone decided to leave a team that was just in the NBA Finals. And yet nobody is lambasting him for being a Coward again. The Spurs lost in 2013, in HEART BREAKING, SOUL CRUSHING fashion. Ray Allen's shot has gone down as the greatest shot in NBA Finals history. And yet, the Spurs came back strong in 2014 and beat us. Can the Heat come back in 2015 for Round 3 - Heat vs Spurs to avenge our loss? Nope. Someone ran away.

The country is not taking him to task for it.

was your past username happen to be strengthnhonor or something? The user that was completely hating on Bosh over and over again yet when he signed the 5 year deal you went all happy and giddy towards him.

I didn't "hate on" Bosh. Go back and read my posts. I always said "I love Bosh"..... I always used to say he has high bball IQ, he's a great locker room guy, total team player...... but I would say this before I went on to say stuff like "but he can't rebound well or play paint defense"........ which is true. A max contract 3rd option Big Man who can't play like a Big Man? That was bad value for us. I wanted the Heat to be at Peak Performance, and I believed and still believe that the Heat Big 3 would have been better if we had a legit rebounding and paint defense.

But once the Coward left to the Cavaliers..... of course I would be happy Bosh is back. As I have ALWAYS said, I love Bosh. The team can now be built around his strengths as he is not a 3rd option in a limited role, being asked to do things he can't do.

And none of that has anything to do with this thread. What does my comments on Bosh have to do with this? Are my comments in this thread all discredited because I said Bosh can't rebound or play paint defense?

Could have make more than 5 straight. Could have also threepeated after this. What a comeback after that ugly loss that would be. Could have even fourpeated. Could have had more rings than any team not named Lakers or Celtics. LeBron could solidify his case for the GOAT. Could get more rings than Jordan. Wade and Bosh too. But all that "could be" doesn't matter now. It matters how we bounce back. And by god, we will.

We support one of the best franchises in the NBA.....be happy you aren't in Cleveland, or Philly who have to tank and endure years of incompetence just reach competitor status. Unlike those teams, we have a president & owner that puts the product a notch ahead of themselves. Don't worry yourself about LeBron and the Cavs, they'll fall out of good graces soon enough and we'll be back on top. In fact, we could still hold our place as a top team in the east. We should all be honored to be Heat fans.

Reading your posts is truly one of the few bright spots in this offseason for me, the LBJ hate is comical and surprisingly addicting to read

We do have a chance at a 5th straight appearance, we have a good squad and no one in the east is unbeatable

We likely will do it. It was just a couple years ago Wade and the d-league brigade were the #4 team in the East and its no better then than it was now. The team we have now is way better than that horrid concoction, so I'm pretty optimistic.

I thought the OP comments were hilarious lol. I tried to tell you guy's the media hate had nothing to do with their dislike for lebron. It was they didn’t want him to go to Miami. They wanted him in Chicago or New York.
