Going to be awkward for D-Mo.

I hear the Asik doghouse has vacancy.

At least D-Mo didn't say "usually at some strip club buffet"

Harden and Howard can dish out "the truth", let's see if they can take it.

so sport athletes supposed to eat together as a team?
do you go out and eat with your co-workers?
well i guess we can't compare to rich athletes
normal people have mortgage payment and debt they bring their own lunch so they don't go out and eat

Actually, yes, a lot of people do eat lunch with their co-workers.

but not everyday
i don't go out and eat with some co-worker because they are vegetarian
i don't feel comfortable eating meat right in front of them

OT, Lin doesn't play here anymore and this isn't thread worthy...

OP also please explain what eating together has to do with leadership, smh.
Like Max said you don't have to eat together every day, im sure that quote is out of context or lost in translation because we have all seen they do quite a bit together.

Notable that a lot of foreign born non-english speakers tend to be very open with their local papers in ways that they wouldn't do with American papers.

only good friends/buddies go out and eat together
my boss or my boss' boss don't go out and eat with us
sometime we run into our boss' boss
he just order to go order and sit in his office and eat
he never sit down and eat with us
my boss bring lunch from home
he only eat with us when he is the one paying the bill
does it make them bad leader?
no
i think a leader don't want that kind of relationship
you want them to treat you as a leader instead of a friend

i think when you go out and eat as a team
everyone expect the captain paying the bill
you can understand why howard and harden don't want to go out and eat with them
because they don't want to pay for their bill everyday

NBA Players get a per diem of $106 per day. Maybe that's not a lot for fancy restaurants but that's plenty for regular places.

I know it was proven wrong and misinterpreted, but one thing he says about playing for the lakers that everyone over looks

"They don't have any serious bigs, I'll get a lot of opportunities there"

If that wasn't misinterpreted and we traded him there, wouldn't that piss off the lakers bigs?

for anybody hating on dmo for these comments might want to get a better understanding of the circumstances. the place he said that was a comedian radio show, the two guys that are the show hosts are legendary in lithuania doing things like prank calling people throughout work days with various entertaining content.

the reason that they usually don't eat together isn't due to the lack of chemistry, but due to different tastes, saying dmo was more likely to eat oysters and harden and howard are fast food guys. dmo said in the interview that he usually speaks with howard daily and that he's the soul of the team.

hilarious how something so obscure gets so much attention though, nonetheless from dmo.
