JV to become a superstar needs to not so much pumpfake as shoot that 18' shot.

NBA knows his games and will not buy that pump fake anymore. If he can stick it consistently without delay it changes everything spacing wise for him and the overall team.

If not then he becomes a detriment as defenses are allowed to set as he sits there and pump fakes and when he goes to the basket it will be into a defender(s) waiting for him.

After his 1st year it seemed that was his strength but last year it seemed he lacked confidence in the jumper and for good reason he shot it poorly.

So far it looks like Jonas is the first big in history to actually learn something from Hakeem lessons. He looks pretty damn good on his feet.

Australia has no answer for JV. Not even Nathan Jawai can stop him!

Agreed, he seemed somewhat confident in his moves even though they weren't perfect. That's a big step for him.

BTW I'm from Scotia too I heard yall had a tornado the other day. Did it do any damage? Hope everyone's ok.

Nice!

Uh.. might have been one in a field or something, don't think there was any damage anywhere. The tornadoes we get occasionally (very occasionally) are pretty damn small... or water spouts out in the straight. Everyone is fine though, hah..

Probably mentioned earlier but these uniforms are confusing. I keep thinking the green is lithuania

- Jonas looked like he might have traveled on an ugly bucket

- pump fake, drive to the middle and fouled (was pushed out to the high post at the beginning of this play)

- never like it when Jonas leaves the paint to run out at a jumper shooter that he has no chance of reaching

- Jonas tried a quick turn around jumper and missed..he should emulate Duncan, not Hakeem. Had good positioning this time.

- finished a P/R play..they don't guard it very well
