Agreed, just responded with that on the thread.
I almost did in my last response, but edited it out.

I think its someone connected to Bledsoe/Paul (not them specifically). I see what you mean that it won't get him a max contract, but PR is just a component of the overall equation. You do whatever you can to win the PR battle (you use every tool at your disposal). Ask people that have been involved in politics, that's what you have to do. The internet can be a powerful tool. You hope that people spread certain messages to other messages boards, postings on other news sites, send emails, etc. It may not sound like much, but again it all part of the equation. It's not hyping Bledsoe, its about making the Suns look bad. Either way the internet requires little effort and little cost to spread a message so if even if the projected outcome is small, you have not invested in serious time and/or money.

I don't believe the world revolves around message boards and fan forums but image is too important to sit idly by while it deteriorates. If I were Paul, I'd definitely be trying to improve the public perception of my client and having someone work the sports talk circuit and the internet is a fairly inexpensive way to do it.

The difference with politics is that the people have the power to vote. Using the internet to influence people's opinions is useful as they are the ones who are going to make the decision of who to elect. A vote isn't going to be held which determines whether or not Bledsoe gets the max. The only people who can decide that are NBA front offices, and fans point of views don't hold any influence whatsoever over their decisions. It is possible that someone is just a fan of Bledsoe and for some reason feels the need to defend him due to the criticism he has received on message boards for wanting the max.

Another could be Bledsoe and green for Jrue Holdiay and Ryan anderson

I agree, but I'm not sure Rich Paul is very savvy or intelligent by any means. Also, it's not like this guy is a regular poster on the site. As Trader Joe pointed out in the thread, all but one of his posts ever are in that very thread. Also, I think many people connected to the media and teams read stuff here. Bill Simmons even linked once to a Bucks thread about Tobias Harris.
Also, I don't necessarily think it was Rich Paul or even anyone affiliated with Bledsoe, but it is a bit weird that all but one of his posts are suddenly on that thread saying "PAY THE MAN, HE IS THE TEAM'S BEST PLAYER". Doesn't it strike you as a little odd that someone with one post, has 20 or so posts in that thread saying Bledsoe is worth max money?

"Maybe that's just posturing and negotiating," Sarver said of the reports. "We haven't heard from the guy in four months, so I couldn't tell you..."

Bledsoe for Cousins is the first S & T suggestion I've seen suggested where we'd actually get the better player. But oh what a tremendous risk DeMarcus would be.
