OT: Fantasy Football?

Im ignorant, what did the nfl do to defend against the read option?

It's not just hitting the QB's though fellas, every DC in the league was attending conferences with top college defensive heads to study how college defenses combat the read option. That's not an exaggeration, I couldn't find the article I originally read that made me decide against drafting RG3 or Colin Kaeperneck (sp?) but here's a link to a short piece about it.

From what I recall, they basically concluded that the best defense for a read option is to go 4-3 and have the backs fill each gap rather than shoot through them. Something like that. Either way, the defenses are far more prepared this year and not just from film sessions on their own.

Yup, I'm on it. Just reinvited all the other teams again to give them first dibs on the open slots, then I'll open it up to anyone else who wants in.

I guess it was set up as that by default. It WILL be a live draft though, we'll set a time once the league is full.

Shouldn't you make a time before ppl join so they know if they can make the draft before joining

I was hoping we could agree on a time when most are available, but if people prefer a set time before joining, I was thinking Sunday 8/24 at 6PM. If you think you'll be free to draft, please join. 5 spots left.
