After not getting any for the last three years, we will have ten games on national TV next season.

^^ Lol c'mon dude, Yes life isn't fair but it's Lebron James. If he went to Milwaukee they would get 29 games. If you want to be butthurt, be butthurt about the Knicks getting 16...not including NBAtv

Thats not TOO bad

Someone tell me, how many do the Bulls get? How many do Indiana get? Those two would be better for comparison than the Cavs this year.

We were one of the most exciting teams to watch last year, I heard that from most of my friends, none of which are Wiz fans.

Well, in fairness, we took Mike Pence off their hands. Taking back Mahinmi is the least they can do.

^There's the list. Bulls get 25, Indiana only 5 (who wants to watch that team this year?)

Crazy how much that playoff run did for our national profile. I just hope the team shows up in these big games and doesn't disappoint.

The Wizards built the "right way"?

That's news to me.

Of course they have. After 36 years, there should be a solid foundation, right?

By the way, Wizards are listed as 3 of the 30-some "must watch" games

ESPN’s Best games of 2014-15 NBA schedule:
http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/11349 ... a-schedule

Nov. 21: Cleveland Cavaliers at Washington Wizards
A rekindling of the 2005-2007 rivalry?

Dec. 25: Washington Wizards at New York Knicks
Christmas day at Noon. Perfect time for John Wall and Bradley Beal to show the Nation what they’ve got.

Jan. 21: Oklahoma City Thunder at Washington Wizards
An opportunity to show Kevin Durant how much he’s wanted here in Washington; and also an opportunity to show him how good this team is and can be… #KD2DC

It's because they don't have any "names." That's what it's all about. They don't care if your team is good or not. They only care if you've got marketable names that casual fans can recognize. The reason we got 10 games isn't just because we made the playoffs. It's because Wall and Beal are becoming names.

Shoot, even the Spurs get shafted when you think about it. Best team in the NBA for almost two decades and the defending champs and they get 19 when Cleveland and OKC get 25+

It's a damn shame too because Memphis is good. You'd think being a sound team that plays excellent team basketball would be attractive enough for basketball fans to enjoy watching, but it's not. Only real basketball fans who know what they're looking at enjoy watching players like Marc Gasol, Mike Conley, Tony Allen, and Zach Randolph.

No mystery here. Even bad Knick and Laker teams have more brand-name appeal and more fans coast-to-coast than a good Memphis team. It's all about the TV ratings and I don't blame the networks for looking out for their bottom line.

Good basketball is good for the league's brand. Seems like the smarter long term move for the league would be to introduce the country to their best teams, build up their brand strength, rather than showcase a couple of dogs like these Knicks and Lakers.

That would make the most sense but putting garbage teams like the Lakers and Knicks gets the big LA and NY markets to watch the national networks. That means higher ratings which means higher $.
Eric Maynor is the worst basketball player I've ever seen.
