Isaiah Thomas undergoes left wrist surgery

Post#1 » by SunsRback4Good » Thu Aug 14, 2014 7:18 pm

The Phoenix Suns announced that newly signed point guard Isaiah Thomas underwent a successful arthroscopy of his left wrist on Thursday. He is not expected to miss any time and should be able to fully participate in all of training camp.

But why did our Front Office not tell us that he needed surgery prior to signing him to that contract? Why would they lie to us?

I feel ashamed to be a Suns fan right now. Clearly the Front Office doesn't feel the need to tell us everything and that disappoints me. I'm very emotional right now and can't imagine anything worse than this absolutely awful, tragic injustice.

Kings fan here,

That left wrist injury impacted his shooting percentages last year to the point that DraftExpress called him a bad shooter in their free agent video. Those of you who saw said video, please disregard that part.

That's interesting - no idea that he had suffered from something that could impact his stroke.

Also, as stated previously, it's hard to imagine his efficiency not improving in the Suns offense/under Hornacek. Very much looking forward to it.

Yes he is. We'll have an all-lefty backcourt with Thomas and Dragic.
