Starting lineups?
Want to see what everyone wants the starting lineup to look like.
I would go with:
Westbrook
Lamb
Durant
Ibaka
Adams
Reggie
Thoughts?

Re: Starting lineups?
I like either starting Perk with PJ or Lamb at SG, or Adams w/ Roberson. Lamb isn't there defensively to me yet, but can be a sparrk off the bench preferably so I like PJ best.

Re: Starting lineups?
That is what I would go with. However, I expect Russ, Lamb, KD, Ibaka and Perkins to maintain the cohesion of the past few years and to give Perkins "respect" as a veteran. With Adams coming into the game early for Perkins. I could see Adams and Reggie finishing 1-2 in 6th man voting this year. I'm looking for a minute distribution of something along the lines of-
Russ, KD and Ibaka- 32 minutes
Lamb, Reggie, Adams- 25 minutes
Morrow- 20 minutes
PJ3- 15 minutes
Collison, Perkins- 12 minutes
McGary- 10 minutes
I'm actually concerned that Roberson gets given the starting SG job and significant playing time, around 20 minutes a night, limiting Lamb, PJ3 and McGary. Even if Perkins starts I don't expect him to play "starter minutes" just 10-15 minutes a night unless it is against Memphis, San Antonio or some other team with multiple legitimate big men.

This is absolutely perfect in my eyes. Wouldn't even mind sending Robe up and down to D league again and really give him lots of shots and touches down there, try and round out his offensive game. I really want to see lots of Lamb, Jones, and Adams this year and it would be nice to see Mcgary around 10 a game getting his feet wet.

Re: Starting lineups?
I'd be great with that lineup as well, I'm pretty much under the impression now Perk's minutes are getting cut, though I expect him to start. I wouldn't mind Roberson a little more than others, but want to see as much of Lamb/PJ/Adams as possible.

Re: Starting lineups?
I think Morrow and Perk start with the Big 3. Morrow can just stand in the corner for the first 6 minutes of the game and stroke it from outside.
A Second Unit of Adams, Lamb, & Jackson will give them enough fire power off the bench.

Re: Starting lineups?
Morrow is a great fit in the starting line up. If Lamb has a good training camp, he could even be a better fit since he has a nice mid range skillset. Roberson is not out of the picture, if Brooks doesn't like Lamb and prefers Morrow coming off the bench which is a highly possible scenario. Who knows, maybe Roberson comes off the training camp with a solid three ball... than that could be him starting.
Too many question marks.
I really want Lamb to realize all that potential here.

Can't wait for camp battles. I wonder who will win that SG spot.

Re: Starting lineups?
I don't see any way that Perk doesn't start. This is mainly because he doesn't have any role off of the bench... and I don't see Brooks being so out on him that Nick and Mitch pull all of the minutes from him.
That said, it really has to be Lamb or Morrow. Roberson with Perk would be just awful to watch (sometimes I feel like that maybe that makes it more likely though). I would love to see Lamb/Perk work out well and if Lamb is up to it I see that being the best fit for the team. Especially because Reggie is going to command the ball in the 2nd unit and Morrow is probably better off the ball than Lamb off the ball (or maybe worse on the ball?)
Love Adams, but I'm thinking this is my combination of realistic/ideal lineup (not including injuries, just a normal night, maybe a little wishful that 12 guys get mins, if so Mitch drops out with mins going to Nick and Roberson's mins go to Lamb/Morrow/PJ3). I think 32 min is lower than realistic for the key guys, 35 is something to shoot for:
Russ(35)
Lamb(23)
KD(35)
Serge(35)
Perk(16)
Reggie(30)
Morrow(18)
PJ3(10)
Collison(8)
Adams(20)
Roberson(8)
Mitch(2)

Re: Starting lineups?
Yeah, I'm starting to think it's Lamb most likely, just bc of the issue with Perk and Roberson, but just hope they don't do something dumb and try that.

I have a feeling it's going to look like this to open the season...
Westbrook
Roberson
Durant
Ibaka
Perkins
Jackson
Morrow
Lamb
Collison
Adams
PJ3 will probably be the wild card, he will get in some games and will sit out a few as well.

Maybe more PJ3 at the 4 and less Collison at the 5, combined with Adams/Perk. I think he is no longer fast enough to play the 4 (Nick)

To me this is the worst case scenario (within reason). Perkins and Roberson are too offensively inept to start together. I'm going to coin a new phrase and call it an awfense for how awful it would be. Perkins is going to be at a new low offensively (I'm still cool with him in the right situations due to defense) and Roberson can't throw the ball up in the air and accidentally get it to go it. In some of the summer league games he was missing put backs and layups right at the basket without much D.

Re: Starting lineups?
The last scenario I want is Roberson to in any way knock PJ3 out of the rotation or really take any of his minutes.
I would be down to just have Robe and Huestis both play the year our in D league and whoever plays better can get called up and get some burn here and there.
