I hope I'm wrong but I have no confidence we'll sign him long term. Technically we SHOULD have the leverage but if his agent and Bledsoe aren't trying to talk with us, maybe they are set on, 'if you don't offer the max, we won't talk with you and will accept the QO at the deadline'.

Perhaps McD has a better idea of what he's likely to do. If he feels he's bluffing, leave the 48. If he feels he's serious about taking the QO, raise the deal to 52-54. At that point the four year deal is essentially even with what he would get if he signed the QO and then got a max deal elsewhere (~53.5). Of course in the latter case he would get the fifth year, so it's not exactly the same. But it still makes the decision to take the QO go from dumb to dumber. And even at 54 it's a decent contract to trade.

Stacked at guard.
Bledsoe/IT/Ennis
Dragic/Green/Goodwin

It was so stacked they cut Xmas..
I don't see them adding another guard

A's over Royals. Lester and experience will prove that he's worth the trade.

Tigers winning it all. Tigers are, imo, peaking at the right time.

And it's really tedious on here as of lately. I'm over it though, finally : )

The Suns Brass are not going to take on over-priced players which will hinder having the talent needed to compete. McD dealth strives for finding talent via the draft and players who could be had at the right price. Having EB as a max player doesn't benefit the Suns moving forward and would seal our fate as a mediocre sixth seed playoff team given having to pay Dragic next year too.

It's boring that Bledsoe is the only thing left to be talked about.

The NFL off season is so much better than the NBA off season. Like seriously, imagine if Bledsoe had already signed a 4 yr $48 mil contract with us back in July there would be absolutely nothing to talk about Suns basketball wise for 2-3 months.

I think New Orleans will make the playoffs this year. AD is a man child and they'll be a dominant rebounding team with the addition of Asik. God the west is unfair.

I would be very happy had Bledsoe signed and there was nothing to talk about.

Morris Twins Would Prefer to Play Together

Markieff and Marcus Morris smiled Saturday while they signed autographs at the Hunting Park Recreation Center in North Philadelphia. The twin forwards for the Phoenix Suns were sponsoring a back-to-school charity event, giving away 200 backpacks to students ages 5 to 15.

The twins are happier when they’re together. The Philadelphia natives played on the same teams growing up, in high school at Prep Charter and in college at Kansas. But they were separated early in their NBA careers when they were selected one pick apart in the 2011 NBA draft, until Marcus joined Markieff in Phoenix via a trade from the Houston Rockets in February 2013.

Off the court, the twins are inseparable.

“Wherever we’re together, it’s home,” Markieff said. “We just go out there and have fun. The game isn’t the same when we’re apart.”

I like the Morris twins. I wish we could have reach extensions with them this summer.

We should sign Marcus first to a cheaper contract. Then Markieff might take less to stay here with him.

When does training camp start? I will assume that is D-Day when it comes to Bledsoe. It then becomes a legit reason for the Front Office to react to his twisted hiatus :starwars

This is just a hypothetical since there's nothing else to talk about.

If Indy was hell-bent on clearing Hibbert's cap this year, would you do a either of these trades.

Plumlee/future 1st for Hibbert
or
Len/future 1st for Hibbert

Assume we would still have room to absorb his contract.

Does anyone have faith that Hibbert can redeem his career?
Would he even fit this teams style?

I think he would fit and havin only 2 years left would make me consider it.

I don't know if he can bounce back, he was pretty much crap during the playoffs. With that said, the Plumlee and a first would be hysterical. It would mean we traded Scola for Green and Hibbert.

I would most certainly do Plumlee, 1st for Hibbert. He's still a huge presence on the inside and blocks a lot of shots (alters a lot too).

Stay away from that big oaf.... if you want to snag a pacer... grab West. He has 2-3 yrs of very productive play left. That said, I don't part with Plum or Len for either of them.

Pacers very well could be a team that cleans house come December.... no point in dealing with them till they decide to lighten their roster of heavy deals.

I'd love West here though, and if Bledsoe hits the trade table, we certainly will have a valuable asset to offer up. May be not directly to Indy, but McDo is no stranger to three ways. :o

Although I agree that David West would provide a good veteran presence and he has a close relationship with TJ Warren already, I would rather see Markieff as our starting Power Forward or at least getting the bulk of the minutes. David West is about to turn 34 and his numbers are declining, while Markieff is only 24 and on the rise. At this point they are both putting up pretty similar numbers, but Markieff has room to grow and fits the Suns uptempo style more than West.
