I wonder if ATL would at least consider Bled and Minny 1st for Horford. Or maybe Bled for Millsap if Millsap gives us a Love-like handshake for next year.

Re: The One And Only Offseason Thread 5: Dinnertime!
Will someone please explain the S&T option? As I see it, there is very little market for his services this off-season. A S&T involves the other team not only wanting to pay Bledsoe something solid, but also giving up significant assets. Who would do that?
In other words, if you already were not willing to offer me $1 for my candy bar, why would you suddenly be willing to pay $1 AND give me your cookie for it?

There is no logic behind it. There's only two reasons why we would do a S&T.
1. Bledsoe is hell-bent on f'ing with this team and destroy team chemistry.
2. There is a S&T deal that benefits us.
In the end, I still think Bledsoe stays a pro and stays on for the QO. We're not effing ourselves over just to get Bledsoe paid, that's for sure.

A caged rat in Japan learns martial arts from the leader of a clan called The Foot. One day some crazy sh** goes down at the Foot place and the rat has to high tail it out of there. He ends up in NYC living a decent life but one day some pet turtles fall down into the sewer covered in some green goo from a truck wreck.
The rat finds them in the sewer and rounds them up but he gets the goo all over himself. Turns out it's not your average green goo... it's seriously toxic and turns him and the turtles into big powerful human-like creatures.
The rat then decides to teach them his karate skills and they turn out like NYC's version of Batman. Then they end up going after this guy with a cheese grater on his arm--the one that started the whole Malice in the Clan Palace fiasco.

With respect to the Suns he has not had any information for several years. He is just throwing things out there to try to make himself relevant.

This. Why would Suns make it "known" to everyone now they're exploring trade options after they've been so secretive about all their transactions up to this point? Give all the leverage to other teams? Don't see it happening.

There is also the other little impediments - Bledsoe's approval of the team and contract, the other team's willingness of give something for him and also pay a huge salary, another team's ability to acquire him and pony up assets that the Suns would want. A sign and trade of Bledsoe to a capped team would require the Suns to take back almost $15M in salaries - likely for players they do not want or need. A sign and trade to a team that is not capped would allow the Suns to take back less in salary, but the players are more likely to be low ceiling unwanteds.
LaCava likely knows little about the inner workings of the Suns and is spouting his opinions only.

To let all teams know that we are looking to trade him and get them in a bidding war against each other. Its what the Wolves did with Love. They kept saying that they weren't "actively seeking" to trade Love, but when they didnt get the offers that they liked, they let the word out that they were looking for a trade, then started leaking info about what teams were offering, to get other teams to step up their offers. Its all a game. I highly doubt that GS was offering up Klay, but MIN puts that info out there to drive up the price with Cleveland.
Im sure we already have had some initial offers (Sources have confirmed that), we said we weren't trading him and didnt like the offers we were getting. Now we let it out that we will trade him, and let the teams that are interested in him bid against each other, all the while we help increase his price by lying and leaking out bad info as to what the offers are.
So in other words, Yes, i do see it happening and see why we would now "let it be known".

There are a lot of trade possibilities involving Eric Bledsoe, but I hope that whatever happens, McD makes a great trade.

I think it would have to be more like Bledsoe and another asset for Millsap and Teague. Teague is on a great contract, keeps that pg rotation intact, and Millsap would work as a good stretch 4 for a year and Kieff off the bench would still be great. Offensively they could play together but it wouldn't work so well on D.

Personally, I knew Bledsoe wasn't coming back. Anyway, there you have it. "Open for business" as of now. Bye Bledsoe.

I just don't see too many scenarios where teams would want to trade assets for him and give him the max. That's a lot to ask for. The Atlanta deal I just posted could be a possibility but if they want Kieff to start, I don't know if they'd want to do it.
I'd do the Milwaukee deal I posted in several times, if we got Knight, Middleton and a pick. I think that allows them to absorb a max contract for him. This would be last case scenario, but I just don't see any other scenarios. It would give us that third guard for a year until maybe Ennis is ready and then Middleton is nice insurance for Green leaving.
LAL still has been adamant to sign 2 year contracts to have max space in 2016 so unless Bledsoe will take a 2 year max (which I'm not sure he can) then it doesn't work. And I'm not a huge Randle fan. We'd likely have to take back Lin too, or possibly Hill.
The other one is Orlando, unless they just want to grow their young guys and start them, but they could do a 3 guard rotation too.
Houston may have if they didn't sign Ariza, but they'd have to trade us practically their entire roster except for Ariza, Harden and Howard and go with minimum guys. I guess we could give them other pieces, but it would probably have to be the twins and we'd have to go with Terrence Jones at PF. I don't think this is a possibility but I'm sure they'd love to get him.
Sacramento could work, but it would have to be a ton of salary coming back, and if we could get Stauskas it might be worth it. Would probably have to take Gay back and give them Tucker who can't be traded for awhile I don't think.
None of these seem very realistic to me unless Atlanta really wants him and will pay the max.

He did break right before the draft that one thing he knows is that the Suns would NOT take McLemore, and he's the only one to say it. I hoped he was wrong at the time, but he wasn't.
