Stay tuned....... as i still have another 50+ pages to read!

Read that Plowman said that it will be (if it happens):

Terrance Jones

Isaiah Canaan or Nick Johnson

NOP 1st Rounder

for Dragic

If that were to happen the average age of the team would be around 24 years old. Don't know why they'd want another PG in Canaan or Johnson though, I'm willing to bet the Suns would want Johnson. A Bledsoe trade would also be much more complicated as it would require Bledsoe's approval, Morey willing to give him the max, and a 3rd team.
That's the kind of package you move Bledsoe for. Not Dragic

Once again, you speak the truth. I would be cool with that trade if it's for Bledsoe. Hell to the no if for goran.

Calm down every one. This is Rocket fanboys fantasy. The Sun would not take that package for either Bledsoe or Dragic. They are not stupid.

I think you are right. Or should I say, I hope you are right.

If Dragic is traded Bledsoe will surely be re-signed soon after.

For more than 13 a year or at around the deal he was offered??

At that point, might as well just restart the "rebuild that should have been" and run an IT-Goodwin backcourt, trade Green and Tucker and Plumlee for picks (>25 is too old for a rebuilding team in the NBA) and see if we can buy out Bogan's contract somehow...

I say ridiculous things because I'm paying no mind to this...it has just as much merit as the Lebron to Phoenix rumors- except there were no rumors created by forum veterans for the latter. Another difference was Lebron to Phoenix made sense from a winning perspective while the above posted trade is hardly logical for the Suns. It's even a dubious trade for the Suns had the same deal been offered the prior offseason, post Bledsoe.

IMO, Mcdonough laughs at this offer- but a S/T for Bledsoe is a little more plausible...if I was to extrapolate anything from Bledsoe's remoteness is that he would play with two big name players in a bigger market (such as Houston) if no team is going to give him the max.

Suns have no leverage with Dragic trade negotiations due to his contract situation.

We haven't had crap to talk about for months. This rumor has livened up this forum. Probably wasting our time talking about something that isn't happening or was even close to happening but at least it's something to talk about.

Him potentially being a rental as he is expiring and going to be a UFA. He's also going to want a lot of money after being severely underpaid on his current contract.

Why the Houston Rockets could still chase Eric Bledsoe
By Patrick Harrel  @PatrickHarrel on Aug 19 2014, 10:55a 27

AUGUST 20 UPDATE: Maybe it’s just me, but it seems the Rockets are holding off on signing Garcia in case he might be used in a sign-and-trade deal. Perhaps for Bledsoe?

Yeah I will trade Goran Dragic to Houston...for James Harden or Dwight Howard. Anything less than that and I would laugh in their face. They do not have even have the team's third best player from last year in Chandler Parsons. What could they possibly offer the Suns for Dragic? Five unprotected first round draft picks? They have nothing to trade the Suns. These so called insiders guaranteeing a trade is happening are insane. Wasn't their some guy on a website claiming that the Suns were trading Gerald Green and something else for Ryan Anderson on draft night? What a joke.

From that article:

An offer of Papanikolaou, Gee, and Hopson for Bledsoe in a sign-and-trade would allow the Rockets to offer a starting salary of $14.25 million to Bledsoe, just $500,000 from his maximum salary allowed under the CBA.

Have any of our insiders hear any new lately on this Dragic/Bledsoe to Houston business?

The world has gone mad!

It doesn't make any sense to trade Dragic.

I don't buy the speculation that McD is the one willing to pay Bledsoe what he wants and the rest of the front office is against it. Everything McD has done is about signing guys to reasonable contracts. There is nothing reasonable about what Bledsoe's team is asking for given the situation and what the market has determined his value as. I do think it was Babby's idea to say go and get a team to give you a max and we will match.

Other than that this is just a bunch of crazy talk due to off season boredom. If the suns didn't want the hibbert trade for dragic why would they want anything in that rockets package? Especially when they are playoff competition? Just fan delusion

There is no reason for portland to help houston get better especially after they just got worse this off season and are playoff competition.

and if McD is going to trade Bledsoe he is going to take his sweet time doing it. He has no reason to rush anything.

CYBERX HAS SPOKEN

Rockets working on Bledsoe with a lot of competition.

Morey doesn't want to give him more than 2 years at this point. He may have to cave.

Nothing that id consider close.

Bledsoe doesn't want to be seen as one of Moreys "assets" either. He is being careful and looking at his (limited) options.

He wants some stability...
