That's what I was saying a few weeks ago when everyone was saying we were trading Bennett for Young.....slowly everyone has come to agree with me....we aren't really losing a number 1 pick because it is Miami's which we never owned in the first place.

So really....we are losing Love, Shved and LMM for Wiggins, Bennett and Young.

I thought we might have to trade Shabazz also.....it looks like we will get to keep him also.

This trade still leaves us with too many wings and point guards....we have Wiggins, Shabazz, Brewer and Budinger at SF......and Martin, LaVine/Mo and maybe Brewer/Wiggins at SG. That's a lot of guys for 98 minutes.

You are right....SF is a bigger cluster than PG. I think we would need to trade one of Shabazz, Brewer or Budinger before we sign GRIII. I guess I was always willing to trade Shabazz to get a space for GRIII.

Just put GR3 in D-league. Makes no sense to trade for guys like Thad Young and send out young prospects like Shabazz.

Guess it's a good thing I didn't buy that Shved shirsey after his rookie season. Would've been a big waste of money.

Holy ****, that's a much better deal than I had any hope for. Getting Bennett and Young really saves our bacon.

Yes, that is a lot of guys. Let's see.. In order of importance rather than playing time per se...

SG: LaVine, Martin, Mo
SF: Wiggins, Shabazz, Brewer

Bud, and especially Hummel are the odd guys out here. But they will be shooters brought in to spark the offense? I don't think it's a terrible problem to have. Martin, Mo and Brewer are all vets, while LaVine, Shabazz and Wiggins are all really young. It might just work out great.

I just hope we dont trade Bazz or Dieng in these deals. I want to see them both play for us this fall. Dont give a crap about that pick. If we can have Thad and Bennett that's a great hail.

Barreiro expects the TPE to be $5-6M and I think he's right.

If it's done as two separate trades we'd get a $5M TPE from the CLE part of the deal. No reason not to do it that way.

I was also contemplating this for awhile. Still don't own any official wolves merch. I have a hat that says "Raised by Wolves" made by a Canada company of the same name, and a Montana shirt that has a bunch of Wolves on it.
