Umm why would we have done that when we were trying to lock up bledsoe? Obviously things have changed now. Not sure if troll.

Erm... we are still trying to lock up Bledsoe.
huh. Maybe we've been reading different message boards

I believe that both, franchise and agent, will reach an agreement around 13 mill per, which I think is too much for Bledsoe. Then, as somebody already said, both can save their faces. Especially, his agent, that would be able to explain to his representee, and to his other players (does he have any other one other than LBJ?) that he got an improvement due to his tactics.

With Bledsoe, Dragic and Thomas we can run as hares all RS long. We need the M$Ms, Tucker, Plumlee and Green to again reach the top of their games in order to get a chance at the PO. May be this year we will get in. I am pretty sure we will get into. But we need stronger contributions by Len, Goodwin and some from Ennis and Warren.

If we trade Bledsoe, Randdle and Lin would be a great package.

But I do not understand how the f*** does Bledsoe fit with Kobe, or Harden. Not at all...

Suns have Goodwin, Ennis and Thomas to replace Bledsoe if he leaves or gets traded.

It simply means that Goodwin and Ennis gets more exposure on court and express their development.

No need to bring in another PG IF Bledsoe leaves... Suns have plenty.

But wouldnt mind bringing in a true banger PF, someone who can grab 10 rebounds, block shots and put a body on the big boys in the paint.

If HOU wants him, I'm asking for TJones and Beverley.

Both of them or no Bled for you/HOU!

Anyone you have in mind? Would Terrence Jones fit that roll? I don't know much about him.

Other option can be Avery Bradley. He is young, he is locked for the next 4 years at $8M per year and he is a terrific defender and a improved shooter. He has roots with McDonough.

George Hill is absolutely terrible. He's one of the main reasons the Pacers couldn't get over the hump to the championship.

The advanced stats would say otherwise. Hill is not a great player by any stretch but his perimeter defense is superb and his 3 point shooting is above average.

Again playing in an uptempo system in PHO would help his game a lot.

Saying Hill is "absolutely terrible" is laughable.

He's not terrible, but absence of a true floor general is part of why Indiana couldn't close out Miami.

We also need to put to rest this uptempo system myth. Not every player can play in it and play well. I'm not saying HIll can or can't. I don't know. I do know we need to stop assuming players will come here and play better than their previous stops just because it's a more player friendly system.

He's not much of a banger because he's a tweener, but he's really athletic and can rebound. Last year he was 17th in blocks and 10th in FG% as well.

Of all of the deals mentioned (yes by fans... so not real), Knight, Henson, and a pick would be best. Knight is better, younger, and just as athletic as George Hill, with a better shot. If we still intent to run a two Pg. system, Knight fits with Dragic because just like Bled, he is a slasher, is a decent in ball defender (not as good as Bled), and is outright a better shooter than Bledso. Just like Bledso fit right into our system and amped up his numbers, Knight would do the same thing next to Dragic in our system. Also I still see Henson as a Pf., he came into the league as a skilled big man with great footwork and a good touch around the rim. He also would fit perfectly in our system because he has great hands, good basketball I.Q. (good screen and roll guy, dives to the hoop and is always ready and going toward the hole) and has the ability more so than Kief to slide to the C. in a smaller lineup because he is longer and blocks shots with those freakishly long arms.

Ennis is a rookie and no one expects him to come in and just play. Archie seems to not be ready, atleast he didnt in summer league, and it would be nice to still bring Thomas off the bench to continue the relentless pressure of a dynamic Pg. The other deals mentioned brings us a lot of garbage from the Kings and Pacers.... Knight has proven he can play, the kid is talented, and a couple years back, people on this board would have been estatic to be aquiring Henson.... as a Pf. not C.

I also think that both Knight and Henson would be better bait in further trade talks if we can pass them along for someone who fits better..... Just my opinion, not trying to stuff anything down anyones throat. Just dont like Ben Mac, dont think Staukus would come in and even give an thought to taking Goodwin's minutes let alone Greens.

T.Jones + Beverley for Bledsoe + 1st pick

Nope... not gonna attach a positive asset to Bledso unless we are getting a true game changer back ala Horford or the likes. Jones and Bev are not worth Bledso alone.

If we trade Bledsoe, we need the following:

1. Perimeter defense. This is Bledsoe's greatest contribution to this team and the two-guard concept. Goran is an average defender but IT is severely limited.
2. Three point shooting. We have alot of slashing, scoring, and with TJ even floating shooters. But with the loss of Frye, we need an outside specialist. I doubt Tolliver will be in the rotation enough to fill this role.
3. Rebounding. This is important, but not likely to get in return for Bledsoe. Multiple players don't help much since on 5 can be on the court at the same time.

Obviously Kevin Love fills this role pretty well, but he is going elsewhere. I would see our greatest need then as a 3 and D starting 2 guard. McLemore, Stauskus, etc.

We need a consistent big man. Plumlee is good, but hes far from consistent. He had a long stretch last season where he seemed to have disappeared.

I dont think you can get Mclemore and Staukus from Sac., also one or the other would come with lots of garbage, like Terry or Landry, and I dont think we were high on Mclemore (I dont like him at all), and although we were on Staukus, is he really gonna come in and take time away from Gerald Green?

Looking at every roster in the league (players the team might give up), the two that make sense to me are Knight, who like I said is in the mold of Bledso... slasher scorer, and is a decent defender with longer arms and a better shooter and Henson who is very long has good mobility, has a decent post game and soft touch and blocks shots with his length, not to mention we could get a pick out of it. No negative contract from either of those guys, each is worth the money he is getting paid and maybe more. Each just like many before him, will instantly improve with our style and coach, and neither guy has an ego that needs to be worried about. Both young, both athletic, and Knight is looking for a home that fits him, the kid showed flashes of greatness in his rookie year with the Pistons and everyone was shocked at disfunctional Detroit when they traded him for Jennings who is a headcase. Knight is a starting talent in this league RIGHT NOW, and will only get better in our system, Henson is an added plus with his length, and skill set.

Let Bledso go where nba players go to die, and fade away in the Bucks system. If money is his only concern then I would be happy to see him a year from now and see his mood and mindset about playing there.

No. I really do not like Beverly, his offensive game is very limited.

I think the same about Knight. He is very good right now and can improve his game another step this coming season. He was an 18p 5a last year, and his defense is good enough. He is aggressive and looks more comfortable playing SG, so with Goran, Thomas and Ennis on the roster he would play a ton of minutes at this position.
Henson is a mini-Anthony Davis...of course he is not an All Star player, but I think he can be a great addition to play some minutes like PF or C. We are counting with Len on our rotation, but we really do not know if he can play consistent minutes in this league.

It coincided with Bledsoe's absence.

Adding Horford and Bledsoe into a mix of Paul Millsap, Jeff Teague, and Kyle Korver could actually create a team that can challenge for the Eastern Conference crown in the first season of the post-Heatles era until the LeBron-led Cavs get fully acclimated.

How would they do it? After the Shelvin Mack and Mike Scott deals become official, the Hawks will have somewhere around $9 million in cap space. But without them having gone through yet, the team has about $12.7 million in cap space. It’s probably fair to assume that these deals haven’t become official yet because the Hawks can go over the cap to complete them, and they want to keep as much financial maneuverability as they can. With $12.7 million in tow, the Hawks could conceivably offer Dennis Schroeder, Adreian Payne, and a first rounder for Bledsoe, sign him to some contract above what the Suns have offered him, and become a contender that hasn’t quite reached its ceiling in the East.

http://upsidemotor.com/2014/08/21/eric- ... nta-hawks/

This is a decent option if we really like Schroder...the kid has a lot of upside.
BTW, it is only a suggested trade partner, he is not an insider, but it seems to me that Altanta have tools to make a good offer for Bledsoe.

No deal is happening with Atlanta unless they give up Horford or Millsap. I wish we could sneak in the Cavs/Wolves deal and steal Wiggins somehow.
