Bird and Magic both played on dream teams....They played with plenty of stars. McHale, Parish, Worthy, Kareem...plus all of the other good not great role players as well like DJ and Cooper.

Here's the difference between Jordan and Lebron

Lebron would get up for playing Jordan and the matchups would be epic. Because even though they played different positions, they would go toe to toe for much of the game.

Problem is...Jordan gets up for playing EVERYBODY....He could be playing Mike Dunleavy and he'd want to tear Dunleavy a new one.

Lebron doesn't have the same fire Jordan had....he just doesn't..to passive in comparison.

I don't think you would have ever heard Jordan wanting another star or two to join him. I think the competiviness was just too deep and his legacy would be compromised in his mind. The same goes for Bird and Magic.

Maybe that's because he always had at least one hall of famer at or near his prime beside him? Seriously, this is such a lazy argument.

Dick Bavetta is retiring. 2600+ consecutive games ref'd. Sometimes controversial but I liked him and thought he ran the game well.

Also think there may have been advanced warning that went out across the league that let players know they were coming with some new testing. I think we'll see a thinned out Wade as well once we get a good look at him.

If i'm wrong about that oh well, but it just seems curious.

On the other hand, Tim Duncan re-worked his body two off seasons ago to take pressure off of his legs and it had great affect. Carrying around added bulk isn't something that guys should overly be doing in the NBA anymore. You wanna be strong, but also not adding super heavy muscle.

I think LeBron shuts down when he's concluded his team isn't good enough to win. Yeah Jordan wouldn't do that. But bottom line LeBron just gets discouraged and honestly the times he's shut himself off like I think against Boston in the playoffs that last year with Cleveland...he's probably been right. I don't see how LeBron could have willed Miami to beat the Spurs this year. The Spurs were just too good and too well coached, wasn't gonna happen.

Off the record I'm certain that Miami overusing LeBron and saving Wade plus the prospect of having to carry ever-more of the load with Wade declining was reason #1 for going back to Cleveland.

Ah yes that time against Boston when rumors flew around that Delonte slept with his mom. He most definitely quit on that team as well. Where he put up the most impressive 27, 19, and 10 game i've ever seen because he put up those numbers without trying one bit. It was just so odd he would just stand in a corner yet somehow at the end of the game he had crazy numbers.

Lebron's a front runner. If you can get in his head and beat him, he's going to give up. I don't understand how anyone can root for this guy. He's a bully and when he gets beat he'll take his ball and go home and pout.

You came out to L.A. and got with a dream team. The only lack that team had was leadership at the center position. Bill and the Celts took one from you in '69, and the Knicks followed suit in '70. People are still trying to figure out where you disappeared to in that series. True to form, after the Knicks beat the Lakers in the world championship in 1973, you quit and haven't been seen on the court since.

Saw this article on the GB about court designs. warriors come in near the top. Check out the Hornets new court design, it looks freakin sweet! The honeycomb hardwood design goes really well with their logo and colors. One of the more visually pleasing courts and it has yet to be played on yet. Check it out.

That was nice to see everyone's court. I agree the honeycomb hardwood looks crazy in the design! I want to see it live though. I thought the author was a little strange. He says that he "isn't a yellow guy" yet puts the lakers #1 on his list. And it was weird that he called the lakers color blue. I was like wtf bro thats purple. But I looked up the back story so it isn't as weird.

Thanks for the link, that was hilarious. My favorite part was the way his letter ended.

So, now that I have left, one thing will be part of my legacy: People will remember that I worked with my teammates and helped us win. You will be remembered as a whining crybaby and a quitter, stats and all.

It's photoshopped. If you zoom in you can see that Curry's head was put on someone else's body... as is Harden's.
