Boyd is the obvious replacement.

That was good timing on the Worthy trade.

I feel bad for Raji, especially when he was playing for a contract, but as far as the d goes nothing else matters besides Elliott staying healthy. He's a lock for the GOAT without playing a regular season game. His strength, agility, get off, arm length, and moves are unreal. In all seriousness, that looks like another great UDFA gem find by Ted.

Pickett, even at his age, might actually work better as a 2 down run stuffer. Most 3rd downs will have some sub package inside DT anyway.

I imagine Pickett will be signed soon.

Raji has been an absolute turd since we won the Super Bowl. Had he had a career year we would have re-signed him, and he'd go back to his turd ways / hurting our cap for years.

Someone else will step up and we'll be better off long term. Wasn't rooting for the dude to get hurt, but I think it'll be better for the team long term like we are without Finley.

It's too bad TT didn't take Beau Allen in the 6th. Looks like he'll play this year with the Iggles.

When Raji is on the field since becoming a full-time starter in 2010, the Packers defense holds teams to a QBR below 40. With him off the field, Green Bay allows nearly a yard more per play in comparison.

Category == On field == Off field
Total QBR == 39 == 60
Yds per play == 5.4 == 6.1
Sack % == 7.7% == 6.7%

It's not football season until the Packers start throwing starters on IR.

Is that from ESPN with their garbage total qbr stat? Worst stat ever and I can't believe they still try to push it

Get ready.

ESPN just jizzed itself because Michael Sam sacked Manziel.

I trust the Packers to say that they shouldn't bring in former players. They know best. They haven't really been wrong on any of their former guys.

But I'm still bummed about Raji. Of the key players on our team, he isn't the worst guy we could lose, or even on the top 8 IMO. But it still sucks.

I think Pennel leads the team in NT snaps this year.

I guess I like Flynn more than most. Backup QB's in the NFL are almost all extremely awful. He had a pretty bad game on Friday but he was at least competent last year outside of a few awful decisions (same with Tolzien too, for that matter). I'd like to keep both Flynn and Tolzien because I'd like to avoid the disaster that happened last year.

I'm in the same boat. I'd prefer to keep both just to be safe.

Also, Flynn always looks kinda crappy at times. During a game he can also go through stretches that look awful, and yet he can still pull out something when you least expect it and somehow gets the job done. He's kind of a cool joe and doesn't get rattled.

I'm not a Flynn fan, but I think he gets results even if it looks like ****. I think Tolzien will be the better QB, I'm thinking by next year he will be clearly ahead of Flynn, and Flynn will be gone. But for now, I'd prefer to keep them both.
