You getting that feeling because you think that might be a last resort type of trade?

I'm about 93 percent certain Bledsoe is getting traded. And 7 percent goes to some weird outcome that he comes back.

I think that we want our team back to voluntary workouts in September without this story moving around...so, if Bledsoe does want to answer calls I think we will trade him for some decent offer( hopefully better that this one that I posted).

Would you guys rather keep Bledsoe and barely make the playoffs or get rid of Bledsoe and give minutes to Ennis and Goodwin and barely miss the playoffs?

On another note if we keep Bledsoe and somehow don't get Dragic back next year Bledsoe and IT would be a terrible combo.

At this point I want to get rid of Bledsoe throw the money at Dragic and develop our young guys.

I feel like IT and Dragic will be a better combo than Dragic and Bledsoe. Not because IT is better than Bledsoe but I think He will pair better with Dragic.

I think in the long run our team will be better without Bledsoe.

So did the insiders at ClutchFans switch to Rubio now? I can't keep up with that.

Why do you think those two will pair better? Bledsoe and Dragic were incredible together last year so I don't know why anyone would expect a fill-in to be an improvement? And if we give serious minutes to Ennis and Goowin, we won't have to worry about just missing the playoffs. We'll be closer to the Suns of the 2012-2013 season than we will to last year's team.

Lol I get the feeling Bledsoe will fire Rich Paul within a couple weeks and him and the Suns will come to terms. At some point Eric has to be smart and dump his agent who's failed to get his client an offer from any team other than us.

Dragic/Bledsoe>>>>>>>>>>>Bledsoe/IT>>>>>>Dragic/IT

Someone needs to play defense against the league's explosive point guards. Dragic may be able to hold his own sure, but I'd rather trust Eric in that regard.

The info has been that they are targeting a PG, as that is their weakest position. Going back a week ago one of their informers was saying that they would end up with one of Dragic/Bledsoe/Rubio/Rondo, and that was the order that they were going after them.

Dragic pretty much has been a no-go for them from day one, so then they switched their efforts strictly to Bledsoe. Since its been looking like there is no deal to be made (a.k.a we dont want their crap), it now sounds like they are moving on to Plan C, which is Rubio.

Why hasn't Bledsoe himself talked to the Suns? Spite? Agent's strategy? Or is this just normal procedure? I can't imagine it is.

Eh not really. Plowman is saying it's still a toss up between Bledsoe, Rondo, Rubio, Dragic

Plowman came in and said Minny is asking for - Motiejunas, Johnson, Pelicans 1st, Rockets future 1st for Rubio

He didn't say we were close to a deal or anything, just said that was the asking price from Minny.

Whatever happens, I just can't wait to hear what Bledsoe says about Phoenix and what happened during this whole process. The only way to save his butt is firing his agent.

Has Rich Paul actually negotiated a deal for any of his clients? Lebron is basically his own agent, he could get any amount of money he wanted from any team on this planet without Rich Paul so Lebron doesn't count.

It will go something like this:

" I have nothing but respect for the suns organization BUT they werent offering me fair value. They used the CBA rules to work in their favor In order not to have to pay me. I let my agent handle the negotiations and I let rich Paul handle this"

Question: would you welcome a return to the suns?

"You never know what can happen. Again I will let my agent handle this."

Basically he will try to act like he is avoiding the question while at the same time attempting to make the suns look bad. The same song and act as usual.

If Minny only wants that for Rubio Houston must trade for him. Rubio is not a Top 10 PG, but he is young and better than this package for sure.

Is there any legitimate talk of trading Jones? I've seen quite a few Houston fans happy to let him go.

What is totally baffling is that Some people here actually think this has been a successful off season. There is no argument that can be made that this was a successful offseason. Sure the Thomas signing was nice and all but losing frye, failing to upgrade Tucker's position (and resigning him (also getting arrested for extreme DUI)), not addressing the power forward position (sorry but tolliver is a below average player and he is getting paid at exactly what a below averge player gets paid), Bledsoe drama, and many failed trade attempts. All this does not add up to success.

I like Ryan Mcd as much as anyone else but I also don't church up what a mess this off season has been.

Please tell me who you saw signed by other teams that would have accomplished this. Short of signing Lebron or Dirk, or else overpaying for Luol Deng, I don't see any FA who solves these issues. A successful offseason by these standards weren't possible without overpaying for mediocre talent. If you call that success then so be it.

This isn't just about free agents, this is also about using assets. We had multiple draft picks that could have been used to upgrade both the sf and pf position but nothing happened. Also sometimes you have to overpay a bit to get talent. You can't always be penny pinching and waiting for a good deal. You could wait for 10 years waiting for a "good deal".

I counter your question with, what position was upgraded this offseason?

I guess an argument can be made that warren is an upgrade over tucker. But tucker isn't exactly hard to upgrade from.

Luol Deng at $20M/ 2 years is a great contract. We could have make an slightly better offer and upgrade our team at F and PF.

I think TOO much time, and effort was wasted going after Lebron for this front office once free agency began. The Suns might have been calling Paul about Lebron instead of Eric out of the free agency gate. That might have rubbed Bledsoe the wrong way since he was FO's top priority in the offseason.
