Predict your win total for the pistons next season

My guess is 35 to 40 wins

39-43; I think SVG can incorporate the new players and generally put a system in that will help the team perform more consistently. But, they still have a long ways to go.

But, at least they won't be confused on how to guard the pick and roll from one quarter to another.

41-41, but I'm prepared for far worse and think there's a chance we click into something better. With this much mismatched talent and a real coach, the possible results are all over the place.

Truth is, though, I said the same thing last year. I feel a lot better saying it about SVG than I did about Cheeks.

If we can beat the teams we are supposed to beat consistently then we can go .500 I think. But if we don't then it's wait till next offseason

I'd say that's best case scenario. I am at 32... dependng on what happens with Monroe, it could go down.

I'm keeping my hopes down. 32-36.

I looked at the schedule the other day, and I don't remember what it was exactly but I was disappointed with the number of wins I thought we might get based on paper-talent-coaching. I think it was like 33 wins?2

This thread is a little early since we don't know if Monroe or somebody else will be along for the ride.

we won 29 games last season so some expect us to only win 3 extra wins with van gundy as coach

38 was immediately the number that came to mind before opening this thread.
Tom Gores' Securus faced a class action lawsuit in 2024. The company engaged in a "quid pro quo kickback scheme" with county jails in Michigan which banned in-person visits in order to maximize revenue from voice and video calls.

Anywhere between 37-42 wins. SVG is good but this roster is still very unbalanced.

I think van gundy alone gives us an added 8-9 wins. Chalk me up for 38

Agreed. The Van Gundy difference will be huge. Still holding out hope that Monroe get's traded for an SF upgrade though. I think we make the playoffs if that happens.
