Juventus and Valencia have made offers to buy Javier Hernández from Manchester United.
Both clubs have submitted bids in the region of £12 million to £15 million for Chicharito, who currently earns about £85,000 a week at Old Trafford.
United have promoted the 18-year-old James Wilson to the first-team squad and Van Gaal is interested in trying out Adnan Januzaj up front at some point.
