Agree, and can see LAL or Sac getting involved and taking Bledsoe and sending back players to Boston, while PHX takes Rondo and maybe Green, and sends Boston a pick...
How many years do you want to set this team back?
Nobody builds a team like this, literally nobody has built a contender this way.

Plenty of teams have built through the draft...

Jackie didn't say Rondo demanded a trade. She said she hopes that they trade him because he has told them that he wants out.
Bill Duffy's spokesperson stated that no trade demand came from him or Rondo. Not in anything that I have read has the concept that Rondo wants out of Boston been refuted, it was simply refuting the concept that Rondo has asked for a trade and that is not what Jackie said.
Other people have reported for over 6 months now that Rondo intends on doing the Carmelo Anthony type FA tour. Rondo isn't going to ask for a trade because he doesn't want to go to the team that gives Boston the best trade package he wants to go to the team that gives him the most love, money, chance to win. Getting traded to that team now would only weaken the team he would be going to.
Starting to agree with Tenabomber (or whoever) in that the Cs should just sit him down. Let's see what that does to his contract for next year. He will not have shown that his knee is healthy. Sit him until he agrees to play hard and consider resigning with whoever the Cs might trade him to. He does not have to guarantee anything. But to block trades at this point is infuriating. Cs have no guarantee one way or the other so why should anyone else. SIT HIM. I am in total support of such a move.

Not by trading their best players first and starting over. It is a backwards way of building anything

again why is PHX brought up as a possible destination? Bledsoe wants max. Dont see how he lowers it just to play in Boston. Maybe LA but why would any team do that if he threatened or suggested at least to take the QO and become unrestricted next year. Dude has no leverage and is highly overrated, hence why no offer sheet for him this summer and PHX wont agree to give him the max unless there was another team that would do the same. Also when has Ainge overpaid for a guard?
Hardwood Proxysm makes another good point in this tweet.

I think Boston might do it because (a) they would have control over Bledsoe past this season in a sign-and-trade, and (b) probably at a lower price point than Rondo will resign for next summer, if he resigns.
I don't really think it is that ludicrous, just a matter of where each team values each player. And certainly plausible given our reported past interest in Bledsoe and McDonough's experience with Rondo in Boston (may have even been a/the proponent of drafting him in the first place).

PHX can call his bluff because it is mighty risky for injury prone small guard to take such money especially if he can get injuries again. Also PHX has guard depth that may hurt his stats. Both Ainge and McD arent overpaying for guards. Rondo is still a flight risk for PHX because they really arent contenders. They have a ball dominat guard in Dragic already (who happens also to be a free agent next season and also shares the same agent as Rondo). Not really seeing the appeal here for either parties.
Again why would Bledsoe take lower than max just to play in Boston (who aren't even the team that PHX is currently?) I am sure Ainge feels the $12 a year that the Suns are offering him is more than fair. So I don't really see the logic in any of this.

Really doesn't look like Bledsoe is bluffing about not taking that $12m a year, and doesn't look like Phoenix is budging off it either. Also a wide range between $12m a year and $20m a year. Boston and Phoenix could have different opinions of where Bledsoe fits in that range. Ditto Rondo.

PHX cannot trade Bledsoe he is a restricted FA. He can be signed and traded, he can sign an offer sheet with another team and he can sign the qualifying offer. If he signs the QO he cannot be traded without his permission and if he is traded he loses his bird rights.
This is not a scenario that makes a ton of sense but it is plausible. That he takes the QO and agrees to a trade to Boston, who should be able to clear enough cap space to resign him or in theory to sign and trade him.
Rondo is a polarizing, maddeningly talented point guard with a high basketball I.Q. who's sometimes too smart for his own good. He's a crossover-dribbling, ankle-breaking embodiment of the yin-yang theory.
That said, the idea that he would demand a trade at this point is a bit of a head-scratcher. Why now, on the eve of training camp, rather than at the start of the summer, when teams had money to spend and would have been more eager to get something done?
Multiple league sources have repeatedly said that Rondo wants to start the season in Boston and see where things go from there. A similar sentiment has trickled out of Celtics camp, as well.

Nothing to see here. This whole thing's still a non-story. Nothing about Rondo's status has changed after the release and eventual deletion of the JackieMac video. Carry on.
2:58pm: An ESPN spokesperson released a statement to Hoops Rumors via email explaining why the video was removed.
“Around the Horn producers felt they had put Jackie in a difficult position since the discussion was being characterized externally as reporting rather than as an informed conversation among our panelists. For this reason, the decision was made to remove the video,” the statement read.
