Quigley has 21 on 8 shots. And Fowles has been big as well.

24 on 9 shots now

No. She's out with a sore back. But her team picked it up and got it done anyway.

Nooooo not my baby.

Is it serious or is it like she's able to play against phoenix?

I think she will be able to play but who knows for how long...

Not great with Elena Delle Donne having a back injury.

Phoenix Mercury had the best record in the WNBA this year, 25-9.

Brittney Griner (2014 WNBA defensive player of the year) averaged 19.7 ppg,6.7 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 2.3 blocks in the Western Conference finals against Minnesota and 2014 WNBA MVP Maya Moore.

Diana Taurasi (2009 WNBA MVP, 2x WNBA champion, 8x All-WNBA First Team, 5x WNBA scoring champion) averaged 23.7 ppg, 5.7 rebounds, 5.7 assists & 1 steal per game in the Western Conference finals.

Congrats to the Sky!!! I hope Elena is OK. What's up with Chicago superstars getting hurt during crucial moments of the season?

Big Syl vs. Griner
Delle Donne vs. Taurasi

Phoenix is the better team, but it should be a good test for the Sky. Hope they don't play like they're just happy to be there.

I'm convinced they are the most talented team in the league. Health is the only issue.

Goes to show how little the regular season matters. The Sky were 15-19. First time ever a team with a losing record is in the Finals. I just hope EDD is OK and they can win it all.

To have overcome the injuries and missed time all season, the Eastern Conference Champions is the Sky franchise's first banner and we've still got a bigger prize to play for... This Mercury team is historically good, but for a young playoff team, the Sky have showed great resilience. It be crucial that they rest up the next 3 days and stay focused for the finals game 1.. GO SKY!!!

Now if we can get the "other" pro basketball team in Chicago to reach their league championship, Chicago will be golden.

With that said, congrats to the Sky players. Here's to EDD being healthy so that the Sky can take down the mercury.

This team is special. They weren't supposed to beat Atlanta or Indiana. Phoenix had a historic season and aren't likely to lose, but hey, you never know. That's why you play the game.

Regardless, another Chicago team is playing for a championship and it feels pretty damn good.

Covering the Sky is entirely different from covering the Bulls. I feel like I have more of a connection with the Sky. It's a lot more welcoming. Pokey, Elena, Sloot, Allie, Bre, and Syl are all great people. I couldn't be happier. Win or lose the Finals, this is the start of something special. They are a young talented team with the 5th pick in the draft next year. They're only going to get better.

We have a potential dynasty on our hands. I just hope the city and the media hops on board for it.
