Neither is a problem. Bomb never falls in the same place twice. Australia had their game of the century vs LT in group stage, they won't be able to repeat that crazy shooting performance. Plus LT will be ready for their full court press this time.

hopefully we get a european referee this time too.

again what is the reason for that? You would kick Monika out of your bed?

Dumb teen getting famous just for being dumb, I hate people like her, she would find no place in my bed.

Nobody tells you to marry her. But for one night stand she is perfect.

For better or worse, I'm the kind of guy that requires personality first, she wouldn't pass.

On topic: I like JV, like D-Mo as well, but holy **** the team looks so much more lively with the Lavrinovic brothers. Good call by Kazlauskas to end the game.

Our head coach was driving me nuts. We again got lucky with our exceptionally good bench. Refs were bleeps as well. Defensive stand to finish the game was something though slovenians missed a lot of open looks.
NZ is a much weaker opponent than Turkey, win today was very important.
Now USA will have fun going through Mexico, possible Slovenia, possible Lithuania - good luck :) This Lithuanian team has incredible depth, we have a slim chance to get to the finals. That would be fun :) Beating USA and a-holes from Spain in last two games of the competition :)

In a very short time he collected a bunch of fouls. He also looked really frustrated.

Kazlauskas went with spacing and stretch 4-5 combo. Which worked. Jonas needs to start shooting 3's if he wants to be effective in international ball lol.

That picture doesn't show up.

Better that it doesn't as well, it's not a very good one of her. Looks much better in your avatar, as well as the other times she was posted during the season as a victory girl.

Well, it still could be right of Liths loose to New Zealand and Slovenia beats Dominca. It is bit unlikely that Lithuania looses to New Zealand though.

Jonas as usual putting up insanely efficient scoring stats:

8/8
4/7
2/3
6/7
5/7

25/32 on the tournament

to hell with (imaginary) foul trouble, to hell with (occasional) turnovers, just give that bad man the ball

I think it was a good decision to sit JV in the 4th quarter. We were having problems on defensive end with him. He is moving like 40 year old, and Slovenia is a very fast team. So when Slovenia was contained, why change anything if it's working ? That was a great decision by Kazlauskas.
It is nice to have a team of hard workers after all. Individually we suck.

Aside from one game, he hasn't had much foul trouble. The biggest reason why he's not getting significant burn is that the team seems to function less fluidly with him and Donut on the floor. There's more defensive breakdowns, more turnovers. They have a hard time making simple entry passes into the post. When the Larinovic Bros. are out there, the guards don't even worry about trying to get them involved. Some of this is on the guards, some is on JV for being turnover prone.

From a Raptors' perspective, we should be glad that JV has been pretty much unstoppable in the paint when he does get the ball. I've watched all the games and he's taken only 1 low % shot. He's been able to move to those high % spots on the floor despite the increased physicality of FIBA ball. And it's also worth pointing out that he's being treated like Lithuania's #1 option by the opposition. He attracts a crowd on the roll, which is why we're seeing a lot of running lay-ups and floaters from the Lithuanian guards.
