Let's get a pick six going into the half here.

I don't think it was awareness. I think he fully knew what he was doing. He didn't want to take the hit, so took the chance he could convert with a completion anyway. But hard to do when you quickly change your mind.

What do you want the boundary WRs to do? Stand there?

Run a route, instead of trying to block for a slow developing play in the flat.

Amazing or completely expected?

Guys touting the "great depth" that having Letroy Guion and Mike Pennell afford us were nuts.

Apparently a player clearly signaling a timeout with 3 seconds left doesn't count for some reason.

Terrible decision-making by Rodgers.

The play calling has been just horrendous. After an entire preseason of high speed no huddle 11 man offense, we come out and put in pregnant double tight lineups with a fullback and then run at 9 man fronts. McCarthy fools me every preseason.

It's the NFL. One loss doesn't destroy a season. A big hit and a Rodgers injury on a first half scramble of the first game... could destroy the season.

I've flip flopped.

He couldn't have slid considering where the defenders were relative to the line, so he would have gotten blown up if he tried to make it. I don't think you or anyone is happy if he got injured again. It's the 1st game. We are probably going to lose it anyway against the reigning champs on the road. I had the same initial reaction as you, but upon thinking about it more I don't think it was bad decision making.

Well the defense has been BAD. I've defended Brad Jones in the past but damn has be been awful tonight. Dlines also getting destroyed.

Only bright spot to me has been Sherrod holding his own; by the looks of it he's gonna be needed because I'm guessing bulaga just played his last snap as a packer. Sherrod does have talent and realistically might be better than bulaga who's always been a bit over rated imo. Crazy we are already down 3 of our top 6 olineman. Gonna have to find another takle for depth.

Probably time to see if either Pickett or Jolley are in shape too.

How many plays did we run in that type of set?

Let's hope we came to our senses and told Brad Jones and AJ Hawk to hit the showers early and let actual football players take their place. I mean how does Brad jones even have a job?! It's disgusting how bad he is, and Hawk isn't much better. Pathetic could be an understatement.
