One thing about alternative treatments is you have to embrace the concept with both the mind and body. Many of those treatments were designed based on specific cultures/diets and you need to have a lot of patience. You cannot expect immediate results in many of these treatments.
Coming back to Elena, I remember watching something about her sister on ESPN. That was a very moving story and just watching that story has made me a fan of Elena.

even tho Chicago have been battling injuries, they have the stuff to stop Phoenix. If Sylvia takes advantage of her experience over young Griner and puts her in foul trouble, the Sky will have a very good chance to win it all. Still, Elena has to show why she was rookie of the year last season.

The WNBA finals...if you look at its history....you see it's eerily similar to the NBA.
The Western Conference is so much stronger.
In fact...the west is stronger in the NBA/WNBA/NHL....
and this has been the case for well over a decade.
It used to be Red Wings/Avalance/Stars in the NHL...not its the Blackhawks/Kings.
WNBA used to have powerhouses in the Comets/Sparks and now Mercury/Lynx.
NBA is home to the Lakers/Spurs/Mavs...

Yes. My ex wife had a lot of medical problems prior to our marriage, during our marriage, and they continue after our marriage as far as I can tell.
Sorry to hear about your divorce.

Thanks, though it wasn't a bad thing. It was a bit difficult at times, but no where near as difficult as staying together would have been, and it worked out well for us both. I actually get along quite well with my ex-wife now that we're not married. We're both much happier.

If she's seeing a specialist in Connecticut, it makes it far more likely that she has some real problems and attempted to get help through the traditional medical system, had that fail, and then went looking for other things.
I've known several people who've had pretty significant problems which were helped by alternative medical practices that weren't helped by traditional western medicine.
I also agree that a lot of it is quackery, my ex-wife saw a bunch of these people when the Western medicine world completely failed her. After seeing a lot of problems my ex went through, you find that once you're out of the bounds of the most standard care that things often get challenging. Many of the things she was prescribed made her problems considerably worse. In many respects, I think she'd have been better off had she just never gotten medical help at all from the Western world.
I do think much of the alternative stuff is crap, but I can't say any of it was harmful. I wish I could say the same of western medicine. Figure out how they prescribe drugs and how they're motivated to do so and it's scary as hell.
Eh, in those cases, I start looking at Münchausen syndrome pretty quick.
Step 1: instead of "ass" say "buns." Like "kiss my buns" or "you're a buns-hole."

So your view is basically that if Western medicine can't diagnose the problem and solve it with a drug that it doesn't really exist and must be psychological? I agree that many doctors seem to feel this same way, and view that as part of the problem not the solution. Not to say that Münchausen syndrome isn't an issue in some cases, it certainly is.

It's possible, sure, but less likely than a mental disorder.

possibly. there have been plenty of other diseases that were not recognized as legitimate that were later found out to be very real. take HIV/aids at the beginning of it, or chronic fatigue syndrome as two examples that have happened in recent memory.

I think the sky need to get rid of Courtney Vandersloot. She cant shoot and doesn't run an offense very well at all.

This Phoenix team is just so solid. Grinar is taking a beating. She is one tough woman.

Mercury are like the Spurs of the WNBA. they move the ball around so well and play so disciplined. Makes the game very watchable and pleasing to the eye. This one is slipping away quickly.

Helps when Brittney Griner & Diana Taurasi have a combined 26 points.

Grinar is just an unstoppable force and Taurasi never misses. But the whole team plays such solid fundamental ball. That coach has done one hell of a job with that team.

A healthy EDD all year and the Sky isn't a 15-19 team. They would be closer to a 20 win team.
With that said, it discouraging that there wasn't more fight in the Sky. Losing by 20+ in both games. I realize PHX was good, some say historically good because of their winning streak, but come on you cannot be non-competitive in the Finals.
Come back stronger next year, hopefully with a healthier EDD and a fresher Prince.

Delle Donne was playing well despite being hurt, the Sky coach made a huge mistake pulling her with her 3rd foul in the 2nd quarter. Phoenix went on a huge run to put the game away with her on the bench.
Fowles is getting killed by Griner (In conference finals she averaged 21 points on 63% shooting. In the finals 11 points on 32% shooting)
Vandersloot can't shoot, yet takes A LOT of dumb shots (37% from the field and 0-5 from 3 in Finals) and doesn't know how to run the offense. She was a major factor as to why Phoenix went on its big run.
Prince has been terrible the entire playoffs. (15 points on 38% shooting in the regular season. 10 points on 30% shooting in the playoffs)

I just hate that Dupree decided to get good with PHX. EDD definitely needs more help, but let's not get carried away though, the Sky have a very solid team. They just need a 2nd star.
