Davis is more valuable than anyone on this list. I would easily trade Curry for him.

I voted Curry, but I think Davis' value is higher than Curry's

Oh no, I missed MCW, DWill, and Melo. Just for giggles, I am going to explain my opinions on them.

MCW: People will be shocked to hear - and I will get an ear-full for this - I would pick OJ Mayo. MCW is a horribly, horribly inefficient player who cannot do anything other than score. I am sorry, but he is not the defensive point guard people like to label him as being. I watched him multiple times this year, and came away unimpressed every time. He is just not good in the eye test, or stat test.

DWill: Hah, none of the above would have been the most valid answer. I always thought he was a horrible team leader, but now he doesn't have the talent to make up for it.

Carmelo Anthony: People may also be surprised that I would trade Aldrige for him. Carmelo is the best scorer in the NBA, and is in consideration for the best in history. He is horribly underrated, and his game will age well. He is poor defensively, but he is put far too under the magnifying glass in this regard. He more than makes up for it.

I should add that I picked Stephen Curry. Anyone who did not choose this is insane for both contractual and talent reasons.

With LeBron or Durant, you only have them under control for 1 or 2 more years. Davis is 5 years min away from being a UFA (since the Bledsoe/Monroe issue of not wanting to give a max contract extension isn't an issue).

Curry and it should be unanimous.

Value-wise, I'd say Davis is the most valuable commodity in the NBA. NOH have control over him for several years and he's a top 10 guaranteed player in the league, I say he's the 3rd best right now but I guess you could make a case for some others.

Lebron's a better player, but he's jumped ship 2x already and has a player option for next year and could theoretically jump again
Same with KD, I don't think he'd ever make it a circus like Leborn, but he could easily leave OKC in 2 years... if they haven't won a title and kind of flat lined... I bet he would consider it. Especially with how many quality guys they've given up in the past just because of cap constraints.
