Proud of how JV played today. I saw more than a few examples of good defense by him as his basketball I.Q. continues to grow. 12/13/1 blocked shot is particularly where I'd like to see him average this season. It's well within the realm of possibility, I just hope he understands that.

I'm very proud of this team and I'm proud to be lithuanian. yep its hard to imagine what could have been if kalnietis didn't get injured. this team would be well capable of trying to take on USA. but the guys that we have would literally die for this team and they're doing everything they can in that PG spot. None of them play PG on their own teams. its not pretty but they're giving it their all. lets hope we dont lose by too much on thursday.

It will be interesting to see how JV matches up with the USA bigs. Hopefully he gets extended minutes and we can see him destroy his competition.

maybe I'm a pessimist but think all the fuss will end in Valanciunas early foal trouble and sitting on the bench. Hope I'm wrong!
