Danny Ferry

Is it just me or is what Danny Ferry said worst than what Donald Sterling did? I felt offended from what Ferry said. I am feeling like if you are going to ban Sterling for what he said while he was illegally recorded then Ferry should get the same punishment for doing the same thing if not worse.

At what point does this stop? Are you going to ban black players or coaches for saying the same thing? They call each other the N word all the time. How about when black players make derogatory comments about white people, or asians, or hispanics etc? I do not condone racism, I am sincerely asking where the line gets drawn.

I didnt think what Sterling said deserved the punishment he received. But if you are going to say that the NBA will not tolerated those kinds of remarks then what Ferry said should definitely fall into the banned for life category. I dont know what other people say because I dont hear it. But a black person calling another black person the N word is not the same thing as this.

Danny Ferry and Adam Silver both went to Duke, I'm sure Adam silver took that into consideration.

I thought Ferry was a decent GM too. His NBA career is over for sure. Some people really are idiots.

And for Melo saying nobody is going to want to play for Atlanta? If the Owner and Ferry remained there then sure. Obviously that won't be the case.
Did he say that during the Sterling situation?

And sports teams also need to tell all of their players and personnel to shut down their twitter accounts. Nobody can be trusted because they're morons. Then the players try to take the fans for idiots by lying through their teeth saying they were "Hacked".
Twitter representatives need to start coming out and saying, "No...no they were not".

Sterling had a history of discriminating against Asian and Black tenants which played a part into the media outrage over his racist comments.
It also didn't help that the old fart was probably suffering from the onset of dementia.

ATL fan here, Hawks are for sale, ATL mayor meeting with NBA commish 9/26.

New ownership should mark a new beginning, similar to the Clippers, but not near the impact.
Ferry should be able to go back to work for Coach K. I think its more about him working out a walk away deal at this point.
No way a new owner would keep him in control.
