So long Spain. Cake walk for USA now.

USA better be lucky Parker isn't playing or is the potential finals game of France and USA could have been somewhat interesting.

Edit: And Joakim Noah.

France has some good players but Spain had a lot of good players.....shouldn't be to hard to beat them unless Diaw/Batum have big games

Valencuinas better be careful where he puts those elbows. Cousins was ready to pounce.

ahhh, ****... it was fun while it lasted. certainly enjoyed the unproven youngster Kuzminskas, who basically had never had a meaningful game for the national team, going at Harden. it was 12pts + 7 rebs vs. 0pts at half-time.

but, yeah, Lithuanians didn't have a chance to pull this off for 40 minutes. I won't even beat on the dead horse that their only good point guard is injured. Their game plan (or at least style of play) just didn't look suitable to beat USA. Too much 1 on 1 stuff by the guards and too much dribbling. Yeah, at times they man handled Harden and Curry, but, come on, you won't beat superior athletes like USA by going 1 on 1 at them.

I want to see those guards run through more screens and more changing of the sides of the court.

The Serbian Assassin Bogdanovic or whatever was impressive today.

I wish France was closer to Serbia throughout the game but nevertheless a good game. France literally couldn't get a stop in the fourth quarter, yet still were cutting down on the Serb lead since they made a 3-pointer every other possession.

we need ESPN to put up 1 million bucks to have USA vs Spain play tomorrow.

no offense to any of the teams the US played, but they really had a cakewalk for this gold. they didnt have to face spain, france, lithuania, argentina or brazil, not even australia. it wouldn't have mattered except for possibly spain, but still hate seeing a bunch of blowouts.

USA should think about not sending a team full of superstars next time, its great to win every time but its kinda boring

Team of not superstars (kinda) that would still win gold probably

PGs- Ty Lawson, Jeff Teague, Mike Conley
SGs- Klay Thompson, Bradley Beal
SFs-Chandler Parsons, Kawhi Leonard, Jeff Green
PFs-Kenneth Faried, Paul Millsap
Cs-DeMarcus Cousins, Derrick Favors
