I think we should give Wes, as long as he needs personally.

Well, I won't be too surprised if KJ > Wright. I did have them on the same pick list after all. But you make a few errors above.

First, TC is a red herring. Wright is worth the pick if he just duplicates last year's 1077 minutes. There is really nothing but upside for Wright here. TC is unlikely to play more than Delambert did last season, and D****** B**** and his 1200+ minutes are gone.

Next, Wright has earned more minutes, and the Mavs clearly agree with me because they haven't bothered to acquire a 3rd C of any note.

And finally, Wright has put up better per-game fantasy numbers every year and there is no reason to think he won't at least maintain this year, if not get better.

I'm happy to trade KJ for Wright if Hop has any second thoughts.

I forgot that Wes picked after me. Had I remembered, I probably would have waited almost the full 8 hours anyways. I also think we should just wait until he picks before we resume with the 8 hour rule.

Furthermore, If KCP was #1 on his list, he should let me know and we can swap picks. :D

Never have I seen anyone so excited to get Kentaviois Caldwell-Pope.

Ha. What can I say, I like the guy and want to root for him. With a name like Kentavious it's hard to resist. This is the 1st pick I've made all draft that felt like a reach to me, but I had to have someone on my team who was not a boring pick.

If it's gonna make you feel better, Javale McGee was not a boring pick. And also Kyle Korver was a reach.

Would have been so funny if he had taken an already selected player and gone to bed.

Quite a bit of exposition in the draft thread but I think somewhere in there was a pick.

Any how my team is set:

PG Exum
SG Martin
G Afflalo
G Ginobili
SF Wiggins
PF Hawes
F Jeff Green
F Gerald Green
C Noel
C Bogut
BN Boozer
BN Mayo
BN Vasquez
BN H. Barnes

PG : Exum, Mayo, Vasquez
SG : Martin, Afflalo, Ginobili
SF : Wiggins, J. Green, G. Green
PF: Hawes, Barnes
C : Noel, Bogut, Boozer

No offense and I have not made any calculations for your team, but by only judging by face/name value this team seems weak to me.

The primary reason is probably is Exum pick. He could have gone at 150 instead of 60 and I'm sure many people would have called it "fair value" at best. There is nothing I like more than a rookie coming out and surprising everyone but if Exum doesn't do that, your team is screwed.
Other than that Jeff Green hasn't been top 100 in the last 3 seasons. There is no reason to expect more from his this year as well. I would have gone with a higher upside pick. Value-wise, Afflalo-Hawes and Ginobili have to surpass their pick range. Which they probably will but Ginobili's health at age 37 is a major concern.

I don't like the Noel and Wiggins picks as well but I'm not gonna bash them at all, since they have the potential to exceed my expectations.

I'm thinking we will be middle of the road. I expect a top ten finish.

Like any of these teams there are a lot of what if's.

The rookies need to produce. Then Mayo and Barnes need to show more consistently the flash they had in the past.

Bogut and Ginobili need to stay healthy.

Boozer is going to have a big year. He won't average 20/10 but on any night could get that.

not even close if you finish in consolation is due to inj

theman wrote: Like any of these teams there are a lot of what if's.

dont get me wrong everyone got if´s but your team have some guys with no if´s at all ( in a bad way )

theman wrote: The rookies need to produce

not really !!! they need to grow ... You expect them to make mistakes and that is what they will do - some will get min noel and wigg others i dont think so exum

theman wrote: Then Mayo and Barnes need to show more consistently the flash they had in the past.

I think you have here two different things
Mayo is finish cmon !!! Are you going to sit the mad greek? to put mayo playing ? I saw some photos of mayo working out this offseason and man he is looking fat.
Barnes already had his opp in the past remember he was a starter last season in 21 games due to iggy inj and he didnt do nothing - I dont expect with a new coach new sys that he going to fit cause he doesnt

theman wrote: Bogut and Ginobili need to stay healthy.

cmon gino have 37 years old plus the Spurs guard developed stress fracture in right leg and this is a complete different thing! if he is not done he will be pretty soon just go and check what a stress facture is and what he does to a 37yo

Bogut missed 211 games in the last 6 seasons so i rest my case

Boozer is going to be fine . I like this pick alot...
contract year should want to show chi what they missed
