Bedoya...so boring.

Is Holden back from injury any time soon? Can't wait to see Mix evolve over the next 4 years.

i like Bedoya

Holden is done
i wouldnt expect him to get back to usamnt level

i am intersted in seeing Agudelo
and seeing him combine with Johannsson
if those 2 could get time together, it will be very interesting to watch
i believe Johannsson will be out vs the Chec, with an injury
so i guess we get Altidore + Agudelo

-the U23 camp, and match vs the mens Bahamas, has lots of interesting names
alot of long shots invited to camp
we'll see if any of them show well

Green and Yedlin better be starting in all of these Friendlies. Develop your young players now and maybe, just maybe, you have a shot at winning Copa America in 2 years.

Good on Klinsmann. Donovan deserves a proper send off.
Eric Maynor is the worst basketball player I've ever seen.

Klinsmann has named the 22 going to the Czech Republic for next week's friendly:

GOALKEEPERS (3) : Cody Cropper (Southampton), Brad Guzan (Aston Villa), Nick Rimando (Real Salt Lake)

DEFENDERS (7) : John Brooks (Hertha Berlin), Geoff Cameron (Stoke City), Timmy Chandler (Eintracht Frankfurt), Greg Garza (Club Tijuana), Fabian Johnson (Borussia Mönchengladbach), Michael Orozco (Puebla), Tim Ream (Bolton)

MIDFIELDERS (7) : Alejandro Bedoya (Nantes), Joe Corona (Club Tijuana), Mix Diskerud (Rosenborg), Julian Green (Bayern Munich), Emerson Hyndman (Fulham), Alfredo Morales (Ingolstadt), Brek Shea (Stoke City)

FORWARDS (5) : Jozy Altidore (Sunderland), Joe Gyau (Borussia Dortmund II), Jordan Morris (Stanford), Rubio Rubin (Utrecht), Bobby Wood (1860 Munich)

Jordan Morris (19 y.o.) is the first player to be called up while still playing in college since Ante Razov(UCLA) in 1995.

DEFENDERS (7) :
Greg Garza (Club Tijuana), - dont know anything about him. a FB or CB ?
Michael Orozco (Puebla), - WHY ? FOR PHOOKS SAKE, BE DONE WITH HIM
Tim Ream (Bolton) - i cant see him as part of the future, but a vet, that knows how to play CB and FB

MIDFIELDERS (7) :
Joe Corona (Club Tijuana), - never impressed me. zusi and bedoya bumped him down the ladder
Emerson Hyndman (Fulham), - suppose to be our next bradley/kljestan, CM. but because of his youth, has a high ceiling and expectations of being better than bradley
Alfredo Morales (Ingolstadt), - DM. all the technical skills, said to be slow.

FORWARDS (5) :
Joe Gyau (Borussia Dortmund II), - only from what ive read, people are happy with his play and expect him to continue to improve and advance
Jordan Morris (Stanford), - only thing i read, is hes in the Sounders system
Rubio Rubin (Utrecht), - dont know anything about him
Bobby Wood (1860 Munich) - havent liked the little of seen

Got the W @ Czech Republic 1-0.

I thought the U.S. were the better team in the first half but the 2nd was pretty much dominated by the Czechs. I think we'll be fine at GK, Rimando played outstanding and has solidly marked himself at #2 with Howard out of the picture for now. Out of the starting position players, felt Diskerud was the best of the bunch. It was probably circumstantial why he didn't get minutes at the Cup but he looked pretty good out there. Chandler and Johnson were good, Brooks was up and down for me...made a couple nice stops but also some sloppy clearances. Orozco was actually decent. Green started out well but faded out of the game rather quickly, same for Gyau. Corona didn't look sharp at all. Bedoya was ok. Hyndman and Garza were the most intriguing out of the subs.
Shea looked bad. Probably the worst player for us and someone who shouldn't get any callups unless he starts playing.

Brek needs to come back to MLS, just admit Europe wasn't for him.

Check it out, the USMNT has never lost when Rimando plays. 8-)

Gyan and Mix, were great
Bedoya always puts in the work, so its hard to ever hate on him

Green had so many turnovers. he is far from being ready
Corona was invisible

Altidore is back on my poop list. if you have a F with a low work rate, he has to score goals.

Chandler did ok. but wasnt asked to push up the field. and he still got winded.

i was worried about no DM, but those 3 worked really hard.
still prefer
CM....CM/AM
....DM

i really enjoyed seeing all the youth in the game vs Cezch Rep.

yea, but i dont want to bring the Euro guys
this is early in the new cycle
i want to see all the youngs

not too many from Europe anyways, that would bump those guys out

i guess if JK wants to leave the MLS guys who have games and playoffs to worry about, off the team
then id b fine with that

Should be a good match. Midfield will look very different without Bradley.

http://www.ussoccer.com/stories/2014/10/05/17/36/141005-mnt-v-ecu-roster-rel

GOALKEEPERS (3):
Brad Guzan (Aston Villa), Bill Hamid (D.C. United), Nick Rimando (Real Salt Lake)

DEFENDERS (7):
John Brooks (Hertha Berlin), Timmy Chandler (Eintracht Frankfurt), Greg Garza (Club Tijuana), Omar Gonzalez (LA Galaxy), Michael Orozco (Puebla), Tim Ream (Bolton Wanderers), DeAndre Yedlin (Seattle Sounders FC)

MIDFIELDERS (6):
Alejandro Bedoya (Nantes), Joe Corona (Tijuana), Mix Diskerud (Rosenborg), Luis Gil (Real Salt Lake), Julian Green (Hamburg), Alfredo Morales (Ingolstadt)

FORWARDS (5):
Jozy Altidore (Sunderland), Landon Donovan (LA Galaxy), Joe Gyau (Borussia Dortmund), Miguel Ibarra (Minnesota United FC), Bobby Wood (1860 Munich)

way more Euros than i expected
i guess JK did take into account, the MLS teams that need their guys for playoffs

give me

DONOVAN ------- ALTIDORE -------- GYAU

.........DISKERUD ------ BEDOYA

..................MORALES

TIMMY.C - BROOKS - OMAR - YEDLIN

...................GUZAN

i never want Chandler, but, if hes brought in, i see him as the #1 backup at both FB spots, and as a starter when Fabian is not on the team

Oooh, that's pretty close to mine. I'd go with....

-----------------------------Altidore-------------------------------
-----------Gyau---------------------------------Donovan---------

--------------------Bedoya----------Mixx---------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------Ream-----------------------------------
--Chandler-----------------------------------------------Yedlin----
--------------------Brooks---------Gonzo---------------------------
------------------------------Guzan------------------------------------

But I'd be really disappointed if any of these guys get injured, because I don't think it should really be any other way. Jurgen didn't exactly pack this team fat. Green has done nothing outside his wc goal, Corona peaked, and MOF is still around!?!?
