Thanks Woody for taking Ray Mccallum for me. He ended the year quite well and I think he has a good chance of moving Collison to the bench.
I also like the Stauskas pick by Gokce. Another King who should be unseating a starter (Mclemore).

I like all these late picks: Marshall, Nash, Amare, Morrow, Shumpert, Stauskas, Hollis Thompson and Courtney Lee.
2-3 of these guys can end up top 120 this year. Which of course can be categorized as a steal.
he's not keeping a spreadsheet, I believe he has BBM membership and that's where he's getting the info from. though still it would be a nice reference point.

@sabonis i keeping a spreadsheet on every team with every player on excel
and yes this year i decided to invest a litle more cause i going to start playing money leagues
and i have bbm menbership and rotoworld too
what i with my spreadsheet i combined both info with two experts drafts
Thats why i made the trade i made
thats why i trade down and up like a mad man to catch that speacial guy
I was surprised that Amare was picked so late
he is on contract year
his working out like a mad man just check his instagram
and was
top 115 over the last 3 months
top 101 over the two months
top 85 over the last month
top 65 over the last two week
OUT 19what? I try to trade up to get him i didnt knew what to offer but i send a couple of trades but didnt had the luck
@178 I decided to get tyler zeller just because i think coach s loves him and bos doest have a true C his numbers when giving time were terrific and boom !!! But i was "wtf mode" to see amare falling ... He @19smothing is not huge risk high reward cmon he is low risk high reward !!!
can he get inj ? hell yeah but its contract year i belive he will play even without a finger

Re: FFL 2014-2015 - Draft under way
I'll be jumping for joy if Amare is #140 on the year. I mostly got him because he fits my team (C eligible with good %'s), and because he is likely to be at 110-120 during whatever months he plays. Then if he gets hurt bad I cut him and move on. Those guys I think are more valuable than players who just hover at 150 the whole year.
I wouldn't get excited about his "last month" and "last two weeks" numbers, though. For a first or second year player, maybe it means something. For a 30+ guy, it's just a hot streak.

FYI, you don't need a BBM Membership to get a basic analysis of your team

if you're not a member, those analysis are based on last year's stats.

Re: FFL 2014-2015 - Draft under way
Eh. I looked at some of those lists. Came away unimpressed. I find them mostly useful to help me remember guys off my radar, like a Gallanari or someone who was injured all year.
I prefer to use my own noggin rather than pay 'experts' for the use of theirs. (this probably explains my rather middle of the road level of success in the league)
Speaking of success in the league. I've determined that the #1 factor isn't drafting. Or trading. Or team building. It's injuries. They are just an over the top element in a league this large. I don't really care how well you drafted, traded, and built your team, if your first round pick goes down for the year you are toast. So, I tried to avoid obvious injury risks this year, but, it's impossible to avoid injuries with any real ability.

"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

Injury plays a big part. Not only if you have a player down, but also who you pickup while a player is injured. I had quite a few injuries last year including my top picks. But I was also lucky enough to pick up some players like Meeks that played well due to an injured player. This is by far the toughest league that I have been in. A couple top 3 finishes in how many years now? Still no championship...

Yep. I almost took him at 171, but then passed up at 188 because I had picked up a pf/c in Diaw at 171.

I haven't had the abiltiy to grab one of those lucky free agents in years now. The waiver wire has been mostly a wasteland for me. I'm usually about 4-6 hours behind WB and Fran for getting to a player. Maybe Im' missing a phone alert system or something, whatever the reason I can't compete on the waiver wire in this league.

That's what I don't like the free agents much. Most US time zone guys who watch the games and Europeans with a loose sleeping schedule get an advantage over others. In a league this size, finding a top 120 free agent can push you to the championship.
