League settings: standard 9-cat, maximum 4 new player additions per week (may move down to 3)

This is a league for the head-to-head format and by no means is intended to replace the established roto leagues.

There will be an offline draft on this board for sure, so be prepared come October. Draft order will be randomized.

We're cutting it close so I will now close the league to 12 players.

Are there any restrictions on who can sign up? I'd love to get in on this if there aren't.

None at all. Just be available during draft time, which is slated right now for the first week of October. So I'll add your name to the list then?

Nothing gets in the way of fantasy bball time! I'm in. Having the draft on here makes things very easy.

Cheers.

Can someone explain the differences on what you have to do during the season (since i've only played roto). Do you have a max number of games that you can reach each week or do you play as many as you can? And you have to do a lot of drops and FA hunting? I'm clueless but i could potentially be up to it.

Thanks in advance.

This league has an add/drop limit of 4 players per week, but this will most likely drop to 3 to place to further place value on having a good draft. This will also help with owners who are busy, as they won't have to constantly change their team. H2H matchups are a weeklong, so per week is the equivalent of per matchup. Generally you'd like to play as many games as possible as there is no limit to games played, other than the amount of games you have that week.

Free agents and the waiver wire are played the same way as roto. If you like a player, just add him to your roster at the cost of another.

the last few years of fantasy i've played a H2H league that used a weekly GP limit. the limit is overall, not by position.

i like it. you can strategize around it, and also it doesn't penalize you if you don't have time during the week to meticulously use yer drop/adds.

hey when is the draft for this, and how will it be conducted? never done an offline draft before. preferably it would be on a weekend since my work firewalls fantasy sports.
