It is no less of a distraction to be asked about it when he doesn't play. The fact is Richardson caved to pressure and it is embarrassing to have to watch. I have never been so disappointed in the team.

Ugh... can you blame the team that much though? The league making up the rules as they go along is what's affected Minnesota's and Carolina's decisions the most.

I agree that it is reactive. What kills me is the guilty until proven innocent mindset of the media in these cases.

ESPN has been horrible throughout these controversies. Some outlets (per example, LeBatard's show) agreeing that it's ridiculous to talk about it day in and day out and then proceeding to do so anyway or ESPN airing the Ray Rice elevator video on TV...

If they weren't trying to squeeze that much out of these cases, then the NFL might have not made these bone-headed reactionary decisions in the first place.

I think Hardys overrated as a player anyway. Wish we wouldn't have franchise tagged him.

Newtons contract is going to be absolutely insane. I wouldn't be surprised if it approached 175 million.

Alexander better show something because the rest of those guys are weak or one dimensional. Addison and Horton can only rush the passer. Ealy hasn't shown anything.

Not saying much considering how overpaid and pathetic Johnson is. Our strength is in the interior. Hardy was having an eh kind of year until he blew up the last 3 or 4 games for a majority of his 15 sacks. I wish the organization would come out right now and say they're sitting him 4 games and be done with it. Tired of the national media bashing us with their nonsense.
