Glad you picked one where Daltrey sings "who the **** are you?" Any version without that line is for pussies.

I can't help but still think Embiid will be the best player to come out of this draft by a long way, if he can stay healthy. I see him as a Drummond like presence with better shooting, footwork and moves down low. I love Jabari and wouldn't change the draft even if I could, Embiid's injury probability still worries the hell out of me, but wow does he have the potential to be anything.

Jennings gained 25 pounds of muscle this offseason? Is that even possible without roids?

He's probably lying either way.

I can't wait to see him.
25lbs of muscle is very improbable for Jennings frame.
Probably more like 10lbs.

This will be a big season for him and hopefully he's successful. It's time.
And it's very possible without roids with his frame. He's says he's 185/190lbs... that's not unreasonable at all with the right diet and workout program.

For Jennings, at 6', to go from 160/165lbs to 185/190lbs isn't unreasonable at all.

I seriously doubt he's gained 25 lbs of muscle at his height and given how long he's been lifting weights and his general obliviousness. I don't doubt he's gained 25 lbs and he could be a lot stronger. Not going to belabor it though because I bet he will still suck. Every summer he claims some major change that never actually manifests in the fall.

My guess is he picked his low weight number during the season, say 165lbs, and peaked over summer at 190lbs. He'd obviously have to change his diet pretty aggressively because, as you noted, he's been lifting a long time and been in NBA conditioning programs. However, I do think it's quite possible to do at 6'. If true, the added weight should only benefit his game.
Of course, I still like Brandon as a player so I think he's due for a breakout season and this could be it. That said, I wouldn't be surprised to see him pout his way out of Detroit and to warmer climate.

Re: ATL-NBA closing in on new $2 billion TV deals with ESPN,
My prediction is his shooting percentage at the rim goes up 2% but his 3point % drops even more making him even more inefficient. Maybe I am wrong but I am a Jennings hater at this point. Can't help it.
