Feels good to win another division title. Even better being able to celebrate in the stadium of our heated rival, in a place where we have historically struggled. The demons have been exorcised.

Next step: NL pennant.

Giants won and Dodgers lost. I guess I'm obliged to post here.

As a Giants fan, I must say this Carlos Frías looks like a promising young pitcher.

Big hit for the Giants trying to climb back to only two games back.

Only 2 games back. Still gonna come down to that last match up to determine who's in the wild card game or playing the Cards/Pirates.

Giants 6-6 vs. San Diego.

Have Huddy and Vogey throwing this weekend who haven't done much lately. Please continue the trend Hudson. Please continue the trend Vogey. No need to get super human and be better than you really are just to try and piss off ole Quake.

Apparently the Nats are still celebrating based on this lineup tonight.

You watch the Dodgers get trampled?

Nobody is about to compete for HFA anymore. It's theirs.

I saw some clips of it. Hopefully a repeat of 2012 for the Nats but the Dodgers instead of the Cards.

Over his last 10 games, Vogey has a cool 3.94 ERA and hasn't given up more than 4 runs other than being blown up @Colorado 3 starts ago. So take that game away and it's probably in the 3.6 to 3.7 range. You're right about Hudson though.

Padres are tough at home, but Giants have to hope for help from the Cubs in beating the Dodgers. Giants actually play the Dodgers better @LA, but they'll have to do something they haven't done all year....beat Greinke.

Cubs have been playing good since trading Shark and that other pitcher.

you do realize they lost 7 in a row last week right?
lost 8 out of 9?
theyre just beating up on a Cincinatti team right now that's quit.

Just trying to get the story correct. Not trying to say this series doesnt terrify the hell out of me. it does.
i'm actually more worried about what this series will do going into the SF series on Monday than the actual SF series.

You are correct, I hadn't kept up much lately, I know for a little while the Cubbies had gone on what seemed like a nice run.

3 out of Vogey's last 5 starts he's sucked.

the other 2 were Arizona at home and Milwaukee at home.
neither of those teams would have hit the baseball if they were given tennis rackets.
